Unless it’s a conscious decision to keep it light for speed!

Or for mileage. My dad, back in '92, bought a brand new Geo Metro and special ordered it with as few options as possible. If he didn't have to have it, he didn't want it. Manual transmission, manual windows, no A/C, and simple tape deck radio. But in the almost 10 years he owned it, his mileage never went below 50 mpg, and he kept documentation for every fill up. Also only ever needed basic maintenance during those 10 years.

When he traded it in, that car sat on the lot less than 24 hours before it was purchased by someone else. Didn't even want the dealership to do any prep work or clean it.

This is by far my favorite case I've ever bought for a smartphone... the Otterbox Strada for my iPhone Xs Max:

Okay, I’m coming clean.

I bought a robotic vacuum several weeks ago. Yeah I know. I felt it was gimmicky. But I really like this thing. It isn’t a replacement for the regular vacuum but this thing does a fabulous job! I run it every night when I go to bed. It cleans the main sitting room and one kitchen. I’m really amazed.

So amazed I just bought a second one. :( It comes tomorrow. It’ll be stationed in the den on the lower level.

I named the first one Consuelo - no racist. As a kid I had a crush on a house cleaner named Consuelo.

I’m naming the new one Cosette.

There is a castle on a cloud
I like to go there in my sleep
Aren't any floors for me to sweep
Not in my castle on a cloud

Got a B-hyve 6-Zone Indoor/Outdoor Smart Sprinkler Controller. So nice to be able to program this from my iPhone or Mac.

Also works well for trolling pesky neighbors that walk onto your property!

My second Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. Never thought I would get used to the flat keys but now my 2014 MacBook Pro keypad feels "spongy" by comparison.

Been too long since I purchased a new camera. 2nd hand sure, love my 5D MK4, but this has been my first new camera since the 7D MKII came out. I do photography freelance for a couple publications, yet my ties to Canon have kept me from taking the plunge on Mirrorless. So far really happy!

I've been very happy with the one we got last year. When we finish the basement we'll likely get another (maybe the current one will go down there and a new one for upstairs). It's not perfect nor does it replace the main vac, but it does keep the dog hair and dust down during the week.

I completely agree. I run it every night so there’s slightly less need to deep clean.
