Okay, I’m coming clean.

I bought a robotic vacuum several weeks ago. Yeah I know. I felt it was gimmicky. But I really like this thing. It isn’t a replacement for the regular vacuum but this thing does a fabulous job! I run it every night when I go to bed. It cleans the main sitting room and one kitchen. I’m really amazed.

So amazed I just bought a second one. :( It comes tomorrow. It’ll be stationed in the den on the lower level.

I named the first one Consuelo - no racist. As a kid I had a crush on a house cleaner named Consuelo.

I’m naming the new one Cosette.

@jkcerda - Bro, we good? :(
which one did you order and what type of floors do you have? Thinking of getting one. I have wood floors. Thinking it might be good when i'm at work. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment so its a not a huge house.

I picked up the Eufy 30 (not the 30C).

I have low cut carpeting, hardwood, and tile. This model detects the flooring and automatically adjusts.

I limit it to just the kitchen, diningroom, and living room. Then on weekends I shut it in the bedrooms. It does an amazing job I think.

It runs at bedtime (very quiet) and in the morning I empty its dust trap.

@kazmac - congratulations! Have you heard of Night Vale? I used to listen to their podcasts. Creative mysterious writing sprinkled with dry humor.

Here’s the pilot.

I was lucky enough to get a review model of the 30C. Love it. It replaced a Roomba..which is now at my girlfriend's place helping with cat hair. :D
[doublepost=1542995584][/doublepost]I had an issue installing an NVME SSD in my Dell desktop. I would get a spinning blue circle and I could never get it to boot. I tried the other slot and it didn't even see it. Well, I ended up just getting an enclosure and reformatting it to work with my Macs. Great speeds (much better than my HP Passbook External SSD) and I can move it from Mac Mini to MBP, so I plan to use it for Lightroom.

barring any cyber Monday deals, iPhone XS max for wife, 2 home pods, Dyson pure cool link, MacBook Pro and new iMac.

I cannibalized a bulb from a room and needs replaced. Also bought another strip to install somewhere sometime. I’m waiting for the Play Light Bar and Calla Outdoor Pathway lights. I’ll likely buy a few...eventually.

A crate of beer (mostly the legendary CBS from Founders, but also comprising a few beers from the Belgian brewery, Westmalle) was paid for on Saturday, and delivered today.

That’s a beer I recognise but unsure if I’ve tried it. I spent 4 days a few years ago with friends in Bruges getting absolutely wasted on many many Belgian wheat beers lol.

If ever you visit I know a tavern where they brew and sell ‘Garre’ which is the strongest beer at 13% I believe? To my knowledge it’s not exported and only sold in this particular pub with a range of cheeses. Well worth a visit if you ever find yourself in Bruges. ;)

I've been in Bruges on a few occasions, but not recently.

If, and when I return (and I must admit that I liked the place) I would be delighted to receive further details of this enticing tavern; sounds like my kind of place.

My cousin told me about it and I hunted for it on vague instructions.

This is the place:

It’s literally down an alleyway between two shops and not signposted on the Main Street. A hidden gem.

Morphy Richards Prepstar food mixer.

I like that it's compact enough to fit in a kitchen drawer, and that all the attachments fit inside, so no searching at the back of cupboards looking for them..
