After reviewing the photo I posted of my desk, and the new Samsung 49", I noticed I did some serious cable management!

I went under my desk yesterday evening, and yes, I am impressed with my cable management.
Rather chuffed, actually...

I looked at this when I updated my monitor recently. I went with a 34 inch. This one was too wide for my desk unless I wanted to remove my speakers...which I didn't. The 34 inch would probably feel very small to you after using this one a while. What is that thing you have it setting on? It looks like it might be a veradesk?

I got some new shoe shine stuff for my new shoes:

Good job! I spent a long time under my desk doing that too. I cheated by buying a cable management tray that runs the length of the desk, plus two power docks that attaches under the desktop.

Added a Herman Miller Aeron Remastered to my setup.

Nice chair! I wanted to go with the Embody but like to work reclined. The Cosm was tempting but having no adjustments and not being able to test it first scared me off. I played it safe buying the Aeron at home to match the one in my downtown office. It’s a very comfortable chair.

I had the Embody briefly. Really liked it, but the armrests stood too far forward so they were hitting my desk. Had the Embody 3d adjustable armrest it would’ve been great.

I see you have the Posturefit SL (lumbar support part on the back) on your Aeron. How are you liking it? Do you feel it adds any value?

The other chair isn’t equipped with it so can only say it’s noticeable in a favorable way when working at home. However, I don’t really miss it while working in the office. Incidentally I don’t have back issues fortunately. If buying another chair I’d probably include it. This chair has leather arm rests which was probably a foolish decision.

It is an Ergotron, standing desk. Very sturdy...

[doublepost=1565491675][/doublepost]Keep us posted on it. Also, what is the make and model of it?
I need a new one. Mine is looking rather 'yellow' :(

The replacement mat. Let’s see how long it lasts. :(

I love how he says "Couldn't you just pull the refrigerator out?" Who does that? Pretty sure ours weighs over 500 lb empty. **** that.

Not all of us were Iowa state wrestlers.

Just placed an Amazon order for the audio CD of this, the vinyl and the digital downloads (from elsewhere). Credit to @Matz for triggering my memory. To hear this after two decades of wondering whether I'd even heard such an album is amazing. For many years I thought I'd listened to an Engima album and my brain was remembering different melodies to their songs. I was content but sometimes I'd get the itch to rethink everything. I'm sure most of you think I'm completely and utterly insane at this point if you hadn't already.

That is an album (by Mike Oldfield, whose earlier music - Tubular Bells, Herbiest Ridge, Incantations, especially - I loved) I hadn't known; do you recommend it?

Last purchase and the "something I was trying not to buy" in one post.

2019 Tesla Model X - P100DL
Midnight Silver Metallic
22" Onyx Black Wheels
Black & White Interior with Carbon Fiber Decor
Ludicrous Mode
Full Self-Driving Capability

Yeah......so more to come on this later with some better pics. I'll be heading in to the "big D" this morning to pick her up.

I bought a @!$%-ing car on the internet. And I still haven't driven it yet. WoW.

Or just pluck a pheasant @SandboxGeneral?I’m sure the feathers would be a good cat toy without moving the fridge.
Or the red dot sight from your M16? :p
I wouldn't want to hurt the pheasant! The cats would of course, but that's different.

The red dot laser toys only work for a little while. Unless the cat can actually catch a physical object and beat it up, they get bored chasing it around and I feel like I'm teasing them cruelly because I know they'll never get satisfaction.
