Not strictly my purchase as a mate paid for it after borrowing my Tomtom 910 and leaving it in a Transit rental van... tool! Ah well, new Tomtom is even better:

Those TomTom's are very nice, at least until you accidentally leave it in your car unattended and someone smashes your window and steals it.

I have first hand experience.

I too had my car window smash, they took my Garmin Nuvi 350... of all places they did it at my work... the nerve of these ppl...

I'm very careful to keep it out of sight of thieves, they'll get in even if the round suction mark is on your windscreen as it may be in your glovebox.

Word to the wise, don't leave em out on show. I'm under no illusion that there are some proper pikey's out there... :p

It's funny that in the UK, the word Tomtom is becoming synonymous with Satnav's. People ask "Have you got a Tomtom?" all the time.

I heard TomTom was being sued by Garmin for patent infringement. I always thought the two looked particularly similar, but I've never really seen a TomTom in operation. I'm a fan of Garmin. I still use my old GPS V all the time. Great little device, but not a color screen. :(

Just purchased these Xbee radios, and the supporting ICs and other components for an electronics project I'm working on.
