Clean and straight to the point

Yeah, I tried to keep everything off the desk other than my iMac. So I had to relocate my external peripherals like my Drobo and 2 Nexstar 1tb enclosures. I decided to make a hard drive shelf. I even added a couple of LED lights inside so I can see my connections and UPS.

Despite seeing it in person, the thing is so big - it still looks like a bad Photoshop - congrats.

Doesnt it?!! To funny. My wife got home and freaked out. She was already upset I spent the money on it, then she walked downstairs and her jaw dropped! Its an eye opener to say the least. Thanks for the congrats!

You can see the insides!!
how is that possible?!

I cant keep this wallpaper off my screen for some reason. Its my current favorite!

I know my setup isn't as leet as some of you guys, poor college kid. : )
Just bought the monitor today, ordering an adapter to use with my macbook. acer x223w 22"w, canon all in one mp250, and altec lansing 20$ speakers w/subwoofer (dude they actually sound good). i was on a budget.. and walmart was like 2 blocks away. I'm gonna put some artsy stuff up too.
i just really needed a new screen, design student, and needed real estate to work with. I like all you guys' setups though.
Almost bought an external drive too.. gonna probably get one in a week, with a 4gb ram upgrade. Then I will sell the 2 out of the MBP. Does it look okay? My wife and I are in school and in a little one bedroom apt. / thank god it has free wifi. : ) But yah, it's on a kitchen table that we don't use. : p
Trying to at least have a decent setup.

This is my first Mac. An iMac i5, 1TB, 8GB Ram. I absolutely love it!! It handles all my programs with ease and is extremely quick, best computer I've ever bought. The speakers in the photo which I am currently using for the iMac via M-Audio FW410 audio interface (not pictured) are a pair of Fostex PM1s... they sound gorgeous.

Here's the photo, apologies for the darkness.

I'm lovin your setup.

awesome. I cant wait to get mine.. I have to ask, what desk is that and does it have a link? That is an awesome setup!

Thanks null!
Im not sure the make to be honest with you. I bought this house 3 years ago and the guy left this desk because it was so big he didnt want to haul it out. It used to have a huge hutch oin the top as well but I got rid of that in order to be able to fully appreciate my iMac!
Ill give it a good look tomorrow, see if I cant spot any markings on the hardware.

And how big is that desk?

The actually desk is a big L with a matching file cabinet on the side. Without the file cabinet the desk is 83x83. Add 33" for the file cabinet on the side with the iMac on it.
