are those the HS50M's or the 80's??

I got the 50's, what do you reckon of there sound?

They're HS80M's. Their sound is very similar to the 50's, just with more full bass. Personally I love them, but (not unlike your HS50M's) they're one of the most revealing monitors on the market, so they expose lots of flaws you wouldn't normally hear.

Yea it is funny when she run's around and then all of a sudden she slams it to the ground. I have my wife now saying applecare won't cover that, don't slam it. I guess she's in training.:D

Do you have a fairly major UPS device with a generator backup? Or do you keep those at your secret lair? That's a wild rack. :)

I just moved a carload of stuff to the new place I'm moving into, and realized that I had brought 10 computers on that trip. Soon I will have a rack again, and it will be that organized.

@hotwire: What are the specs of your XServe's? How are they connected to your workstation? I'm thinking about doing something like that, too.

@hotwire: What are the specs of your XServe's? How are they connected to your workstation? I'm thinking about doing something like that, too.

The XServes are all Dual 2.3Ghz G5 Cluster Nodes with 2GB of RAM each. They're connected to the workstation via gigabit ethernet, but I use a separate network dedicated specifically to the cluster. Even though they're a bit older, they really speed up renders -- plus, they take the load off my Mac Pro so I can work on other projects while rendering.

Do you have a fairly major UPS device with a generator backup? Or do you keep those at your secret lair? That's a wild rack. :)

I'm in the process of installing a few UPS units in the rack. I have pretty steady power where I live -- on the extremely rare occasion that there is a power outage, it usually only lasts for a couple minutes -- so I don't feel a backup generator is necessary at this point in time.
