Updated my setup in the basement:

I need to invest in camera light from B&H or something, hard to get the color balance right with the limited lighting I have.

8 core Mac Pro - 16GB RAM - ATI 3870 - Backup gaming for LAN parties
Dual Core 1.8 Mac Mini - Media PC, runs home theater room library
Intel I7 Quad PC with 8800GTX - friend gaming PC
Intel I7 Quad PC with ATI 5870 - main gaming PC

That place looks like Bruce Wayne's basement or something! I love it!

Nice! It has definitely come a long way since I last remember seeing it

Does it matter? It won't kill you to turn your head.

Yeah, it does matter.. Why even post to begin with?

It's funny... You post a reply, yet you don't even bother fixing the issue.

Thanks!

AND WOW to the freaking uber setup from Kuerfer! I SAVED those pictures
because when I build a house I want a setup like that. That is nice.
I want to be your friend! Dude I will bring over my Mini ! =p

lol, I saved the pictures for the exact same reason.

lol thanks for all the comments, you guys crack me up. :)

Good to see fellow mac users approve!

OMG I hate to follow that but I just cleaned up so it won't ever look like this again. iPod dock purchased from ddeadserious here on the forums.:)

/simple set up

I actually quite like your set-up. Simple, nice, and clean (even if it is just for now lol). The lamps look really nice. I suggest getting an external monitor + wireless keyboard/mouse, the extra real estate is amazing!
Otherwise it is still nice!

I agree with nidserz your(@designgeek) setup is quite nice. The clean look is pretty much exactly the opposite of my desk.

*I just sold the ESi audio interface as I am now saving up for a Lexikon Omega.

The quality of this pic is really low as I took it with a phone

This is at present. The tray where my MacBook is placed slides out from under the main desk so I have quick access to my MacBook should I need it while working on the iMac.

I have a copy of G.T.O manga on the desk and my graphics tablet :D Theres also my consoles but they're out of view. The space for my mouse seems really small but its still comfortable to use, as the mouse is small and the tracking is fast so I don't have to move it much to get around.

Theres a few shelves in the corner, which have my games on it and also my iMacs external HD, i have a portable one for the MacBook.

+1. Your setup is studly. Is the furniture all prefabricated?

It's custom, fabricated onsite. Not using a standard cabinet height, I wanted the table a littler higher to use it as a collaboration space for walkup.

I am looking for a keyboard to put together my uMBP. Do you have any opinions on that 99 USD keyboard on the US Apple Store website?

I play a little bit the piano, but I don't have any at the moment, and do not want to loose any of what I learned over the years.

Here is the link by the way

Nice studio!

Thanks.

what keyboard is that??

The Computer Keyboard is a Logitech DiNovo with german Layout. I'm not a big fan of the current aluminum Keyboard from Apple so I wanted something with a nice quality and good keys. And I love it.
The Music Keyboard is a Roland RS-5 Synthesizer. Had it for years, very nice string and Orchestra sounds. At the moment I am using it mostly as a Midi Keyboard for Software Synthesizer though. Poor thing.

The M-Audio Midi Master Keyboards are pretty good, I would however buy a miditech midistart. It costs half of the m-audio and has pretty much the same keys. If you want a bit more for your buck the 3rd gen M-AUDIO OXYGEN 49 is something you should look at. Especially if you're using Software Synthesizers the assignable knobs and sliders come in quite handy.
