i would try Sizzling Keys, which you can buy for only $5 USD. http://www.yellowmug.com/sk4it/

i had to have a wireless keyboard solution with a 10-key pad. apple doesn't make it in aluminum so i bought the white bluetooth keyboard off of eBay. k missed the "iTunes" keys so i bought that little program and you can program iTunes functions to pretty much any key. hope that helps.
i like this idea with just one exception..
hehehe
i don't like the idea of having to install another software for such simple purpose.
but this gives me the idea of using an automator.. i'll try later tonight.

Would this be of help (specifically the 2nd to last paragraph):
Apple Keyboard (2007): New key placement and functionality
yeah.. i do notice the fn key..
it's just that it's not intuitive (for me, at least) anymore.
what i'd like is actually an apple keyboard.. like those microsoft keyboard..
u know.. the one with dedicated extension keys, like mail, IE, volume, play-pause.. those kind of thing..but then.. the keyboard will be bulky..
hahahah.. well, u can't have everything right? :p

how many spots were there?

I forget. Let me count them again...
I was also wondering if it is the same (snow) leopard in both images. I think it is.

Here is my now current set up.Sorry about the bad pic,the camera was trippin.

how come you don't sell all of your stuff and buy a new (or newer) mac?
I have to use a 700somethingGhz Powermac g4 at college, its usable, but nowhere as fast as my macbook.
Do you use your setup for work?

What you see is all I have, besides a few iBooks and PowerBooks, not all operational. That PB G4 in the pic is hooked up to the monitor because the backlight is dead.I use it because it has 1GB of ram and a 1Ghz G4 processor.I do use my computers for work.Basic facebook groups and a web site I'm designing for my church youth group which is my everyday job.I'm an intern youth leader.

Ugh.... Back at school. Should be a good semester, though! I'm looking forward to most my classes, and I'm gonna get a lot of hands-on experience in the coming months.

Anyhoo, finally have most my stuff hooked back up!

My "main" setup:

My "mobile" setup... this is my main computer for class, homework, etc:

.... probably should have busted out the SLR for that shot, lol. :p

And, this is my current work in progress. Everything works fine, except for some reason it's eating hard drives. If I can figure it out, I'd like to use this for my InDesign/Photoshop projects when away from my apartment... the 1920x1200 would come in handy.

Ahh fair enough, that makes sense. I thought you collected them, which I never really saw the point of

I recently cleaned up and moved most of what was on top of my desk to the bottom of my desk. I like it A LOT better.
