i mean that those exact speakers are still sold in stores worldwide, stupid Logitech havent upgraded them for years! :(

I think they have not been EOL because for the money they are about the best 2:1 setup you can buy. I paid 50 on sale in 2005. Regular 70 at the time I think. The bass is floor rumbling even with the bass volume all the way down.

they are fairly decent speakers no doubt, i have the X530's and paid about $70US for them ~2 years ago. im just thinking that if the technology has been in use since pre-2006, SURELY something better has come along since then!? or do they upgrade the innards and keep the same model.. thats my point lol.

slightly updated/cleaned...

nice nice! i used to have my monitor to the left, but it KILLED my neck. i ended up putting the monitors ontop of each other :) much more ergonomic (couldnt put them in the middle due to desk limitations).

i think you should get rid of ur PC monitor to make room for the ipad ;)

New to the Mac world but I like how it simplifies my desk - 27" i5 setup :)

Can you post pictures of the powermac? If my eyes are right it seems to be black and white which is sick!!!

Click the link in my sig. It's actually very very dark brown and white and it's car paint that was painted on with a $5000 paint gun.

Pretty brilliant idea for cable management. Is it just regular white tablecloth or does a company sell something of that sort?

Sorry, I completely overlooked your question I guess. I just so happened to see it while looking at my post.

To answer your question, it's just a table cloth. It was supposed to be a temporary solution, but I never got around to finding anything better.

Nice, is the ipad connected to the mbp?

Yeah, it is nice to watch movies on it while I do serious work on the mac. I am heading out today to pick up a magic mouse to use with the ipad so it will be like i have 2 computers sitting at my desk.

As far as cable management goes - I have really no hope since everything is connected to the mbp.
