It's not actually my setup - I just wanted to drop a link to it, since I believe it blasts most other peoples collections away :)

Then, technically you are using his setup pics without his permission.
The least you should do is put the original poster's name as credit.

Hold up.. the guy simply provided a link to someone's set of images on Flickr. Since when is giving out a hyperlink "using without permission"? That's very different than stealing the guys images from flickr, uploading to another online host and passing the photos off as one's own.

I'm someone who is fairly jumpy when folks use my images without my permission... and I think what he did was just fine.

My Little Space

Here are a couple of photos of my half of our home office... recently made some pretty significant changes (including switching to Apple).

Large Size Available on Flickr, with more specific information in what's in the photo.

The links to the images on Flickr contain a pretty detailed list of what's in each of the photos above.

It's not a bad space to sit, listen to music and edit photos...

(sorry about quoting photo)

Love the white iMac! I personally prefer the design wayy much more than the newer aluminum iMacs, even though the white models are slow as $%!& compared to the offerings of today.

Ooh, brainwave! I wonder if it's possible to transplant the guts of an aluminum iMac into a white iMac? I don't know how the screen interface differs between models, so it may require replacing the LCD, but it would make a fun project.

I've got a 20" iMac G5 here with 5 blown capacitors on the logic board and another four in the power supply. If I can't fix them, I may try that transplanting project.

If you're getting the rid of the Dell monitor, as long as it's still in working condition, let me know… I'm interested :D

Hi,

Yeah its still in good working order, only got the 24" Samsung to replace my other 2001FP as I dropped it

I hate to impose and I don't want to come across as creepy, but I was wondering if you could draw up a rough schematic of your room; I love the layout.

Sure but it's tiny and i think i drew it out of portion as that bed i drew looks giant!

Thanks for the info! I went to ikea today and picked one up in black/brown. I'll post some pics of my setup tomorrow. This desk is awesome, its changed my workspace/mac setup forever! :D

You're very welcome. :) I've one (a "Corner desk-left") in beech veneer (with 6 silver A-legs) & I personally feel that these Galant desks are just fabulous. :)

Well i've done updated setups before, but never past and present (as the title of the threads suggests we should post). So, here we are.
