Where can I find that desk?

Here is my setup:

studio.jpg

Apple hardware:

2.8 Ghz Quad core Mac Pro, 10GB, 2 x 1.5TB, 3x 1TB.
23" Cinema Display
2.66Ghz Core 2 Duo 17" Macbook Pro.
Apple TV1
Also have an iPad 32GB 3g and an iPhone 4, Apple TV2 not pictured.

The studio is based around Logic/Apogee Symphony with a Rosetta 800 converter and some nice outboard (Groove Tubes Vipre, Focusrite ISA220, Distressor and such).
I'm a pro guitarist/producer/sound designer.

:D
And no! Usually it's never that clean. :p
From left to right: MacBook Air, iMac G4, iMac i7, iPhone 4, Soundsticks & the iPad (in a Case).

That's my dream setup right there other than the sound sticks lol, but I get how they work with your desk.

Still sad that I passed on a g4 1ghz 160gb, with airport card for $130. Well I didn't pass he just didn't except my offer of $100 :D

My humble setup.

Am I spotting an Induction charger for the MM over there? How is the work experience with it? I've been looking into it but I'm afraid the batteries won't last long.. (In both its lifespan and the duration of 1 charge)

Yes you are.

The batteries last very long. I've had it for a month, and only charged it once in a while. Can't say anything about the lifespan, but I think it's acceptable.

The only thing I've had with it is the battery status in OSX. It doesn't update in real-time, so you can be stuck at e.g. 30% even though it has charged to 100%. To refresh that, you'll have to restart the mouse. But that's a small issue that doesn't affect the use of it.

All in all I love it.. Totally nice that you don't have to worry about replacing batteries and so on :)

Just got a 30" cinema display to replace two 22" Dells...

Going back to only one monitor was the worst thing about switching to the Mac for me

How's the uMBP + 30" CD working out for you? Any problems with the MDP adapter?

Interesting you should say that, having a rechargeable battery was what almost put me off buying the MX Revolution. I like the ability to just pop in a new set of batteries when I run out and keep going, not having to put the mouse on a charger and wait. I would have thought the induction charger is going a bit backwards

Mind sharing what desk that is? I am searching for a shiny, light colored "glassy" desk. Preferably I would love an "L" shape, but imagine it would be rather hard to find a similar desk like that.

I am looking to fit a 27in imac and two 27in cinema displays on either side in addition to a closed 13in Bacbook Pro.

If anyone knows of something along those lines please let me know.

My Desk :D

Nice! What do you use your older Mac's for, and what are the specs on them?

They are currently not in any "serious" use due to lack of time and space.

The mac on the left is a retired home server of mine. Specs:

Powermac G3 B&W 350MHz
1GB RAM
PCI SATA Controller
2 2.5" HDDs mounted in the Zip-drive bay. I warmly recommend this solution for added storage! Very silent and they run cool.
PCI USB 2.0 Card
Mac OS X 10.4 Server

The mac on the right has been sitting in the closet for quite some time, but I'm planning on making it a Mac OS 9 workstation running old audio applications (Rebirth, Pro Tools 5 etc.). Especially Rebirth would be nice to run natively. Specs:

Powermac G4 "Yikes" 350MHz
1GB RAM
2x 80GB IDE HDDs
Radeon 9200 128MB
PCI Firewire
PCI USB 2.0
Mac OS X 10.4

My setup. Oh and that wallpaper is functional, it involves 16x16 icons that are transparent and aliases to system preferences and utilities. The only gimmicks in those photos is that there's no reason for the google maps app and the fact in the background terminal is pinging google.
