Wicked Set-Up Maaaaan!!! 

Image

This simple set up doesn't say alot but it is used for producing deep house professionally. Since I have been asked here goes:

iMac i7 8gb ram
Speakers : Genelec 8030 on top of premacoustic auto recoil pads (cost alot of money for what they are but they do a great job of decoupling the speakers to get a better bass definition which is vital for my work)
Mixing desk: Euphonix mc mix
DAC: apogee duet
Midi convertor : axon 50 - used in conjunction with a midi / acoustic guitar (Godin)
Headphones: akg 702 - they need to be burned in to be reliable for mixing (at night)
DAW: Cubase 6 for vocal work and Ableton Live (with 3rd party plugins)

I will post my DJ rig (connected to a macbook) in a mo

Now THAT is a really nice workstation! A bit cramped in space though, but really nice gear! Or were you just getting it all into the shot? Either way, two thumbs waaaaay up!!

Likewise. Get some house music in here!

OH YEAH!

+3 right here ... been there almost since the get go - late days of disco & funk, the transition to hip-hop then the split back to it's roots done well by the Belleview Three (gods amongst men) and Garage, Techno (the original), Progressive (where my heart lives & beats), Tribal (motherland blessed), etc etc.

I'm considering the new MBA Ultimate 13" going forward but maybe I should go for the 13" MBP Ultimate due to 2 extra cores & 2 extra threads to learn/use Logic Express 9+. What do you think?

I have an Axiom 25 I think.

qap .... LoVE the bed man ... simplistic, solitary, warm in the shade matching, pure zen!

You definitely look like you fully enjoy the things & tastes you get in life; a rare quality that I too celebrate - yet not often enough.

Thanks for the kind words . I did have a bigger desk (with additiional gear) but I wanted my setup to be minimal (tight). Surprisingly it isn't cramped, that may just be the photo.

WOW, very good beats but it sounds more like progressive House music, kind of like "Deep dish" Good job keep it up, where do you spin? House music is my favorite type of music !!!!!!!!

Thank you, I have been recently trying out other genres. I used to spin in the south of France but have taken a break to learn how to produce music. I plan to start playing live (not DJing) later this year.

Cheers

There were many more better artist that evolved House music back to its roots not just them three & Garage was not around for long...
