Since your sig mentions 30" CD's, could you perhaps find out if the HiRise works with one of those? I like the idea a lot, but I'm not sure if they thought of those things.

Not really, it distracted me more when it was reflecting on the iMac (used to have my desk to the other wall), but if I get distracted by the sun, I'll just close my curtains.

LOL, honestly, I think I got that one off Amazon on pre-order. I also have the blue Atlas one, got that off ThinkGeek.com, but that one sold out in less than 5 minutes when the sale opened. No one knew about the other one being on Amazon too, so I did a pre-order and when it launched I got one. Both are completely sold out, but ThinkGeek has a new one coming out soon.

The desk is not from iKea, its a cheap, old, scratched to hell and I honestly can't remember where I got it from.
Still waiting for my iPhone dock to arrive in the mail.

I use this setup for editing photos. Using Photoshop on the 13" screen is a little cramped, and the Photoshop window doesn't help. Using this screen is great, so I might not need to shell out the small fortune for a TBD, but I want one.

I want that Portal Gun!!!

I bought a new screen to use with my Mid 09 Macbook Pro 13". It's a Dell Ultrasharp U2412M.
After getting it to work properly with the graphic-driver I'm pretty happy with the new screen.

It's not cherry-wood. I don't know what kind of wood it is. It's not as dark as it looks in the first photo.

Looks like oak with a golden brown/peanut brittle finish. Sort of like my kitchen cabinets but with a finer grain.

I think you're right. It's probably oak veneers of some sort.

It's made by a Swedish company called Kinnarps. I don't know the exact model. It's probably from the early 90s.
