Hey, I am planning on getting the KRK Rokit 5/6 maybe just wanted to ask you are they good at handling bass like 'dubstep' for example, Thanks.

I've had a pair of Rokit 6's for six, maybe seven, years now- plenty of good things to say about them, especially at their price point. While they don't have any trouble putting out bass, especially with the amp turned up, I'd keep in mind that they're designed as entry-level studio monitors, i.e. balanced output rather than bass heavy. If you've got an ear for exaggerated bass, I'd look into either the Rokit 8 or adding one of KRK's subs.

Here you go :: Source
You can simple do this by, taking a screenshot build in Mac OS X
'cmd + shift + 4' - selection
'cmd + shift + 3' - screenshot of your whole dekstop.
If you did everything correctly the .jpg file should be on your Desktop now open a new tab (or browser) and go to 'Google > Images' then draw the .jpg file to the browser where it says 'Drop Images Here' and voila.

Regards,
Prosammer

thanks! :D

Did you get the normal mStand or the 360? I got the 360 for Christmas and was wondering if it was easier just to get the normal one as I never really turn it around often :p

Nice setup BTW.

Just a regular mStand. Didn't even know there was a 360 version but I would never rotate it and can see myself running into issues with it all wired up.

I love the startrooper, where did you buy?

I bought it off Amazon as identified above. I bought it for a little less than what it's advertised now though ($19.99) but that's not a bad price..as long as you don't pay retail.

Oh thanks for the information man! But the Rokit 8 are a bit expensive, lol I'll need to work hard for it then :D

Sorry if it has been asked before, I might have missed it, but where did you get your desk and cabinets? Looks awesome!

Thanks

The cabinets are Bunnings(hardware store) DIY, flat pack and i just bolt them to the wall my self. same with the ones below.

then the desktop was custom made for my room size.

Thanks

Tim

Here is my new setup..it is time to get some wireless speakers next ;) but these JBLs crank some serious sound. Also, my Canon printer is from my 08 MBP purchase but still gets the job done for my at home needs.

Check it out

I wanted to keep the desk as clean as possible. So I had some scrap 1x6s in the garage so I tossed this together. Not the prettiest, but you don't see the Mini
