Down by the river
Here's my setup

On the right is my mid 2011 mini i5, 16 gig, 500 gig drive, superdrive, wired apple keyboard, wireless usb logitech m310 mouse, 23" acer monitor, 4 tb Guardian Maximus raid 1 box. Under the monitor is our 2tb time capsule. The mini serves as our home file/media server, hosts my website, does all of my handbrake processing, and ended up being where I do most of my work using vmware fusion.

Next to it is my late 2011 macbook pro, 16 gig, 512 gig crucial m4 ssd, 2 1 tb external firewire drives, bluetooth keyboard & wireless usb logitech anywhere mx mouse. It's my main work machine & travels with me.

On the left is my linux 'home lab' box, i7, 12 gig, 300 gig 10k rpm boot drive & 4 1tb drives plus another 23" acer monitor.

My wife uses an early 2011 macbook pro, 8 gig, 256 gig ssd. Our daughter has a 2011 21" imac, 4 gig & 500 gig drive and our son has a 2008 macbook pro 4 gig & 500 gig drive.

This is a work in progress so bare with me. I know in the bottom right corner of one of the pics you can see wires. I have a idea to fix that and the far left side were I will be putting my left rear surrond sound speaker the filling cabinet I have to much junk on it at the moment trying to keep the pictures looking some what neat. As of right now I am recovering from strep that has infected my sinus's so I have not felt well enough to finish the setup I started a month ago. My filling cabinets need a new bases as they are right now on wheels but they do not stay in postion cause the floor in my basement is not level so my dad and me are going to build out scrap lumber when I am well and he has some off time from his job to pick them off the floor. With the new bases for both of them and that is a good time to clean them out and get rid of junk in them as with the wheels removed the bottom drawers are not able to be used as the are on the ground. I am not showing my macbook pro 13 mid 2010 model as i will be needing it for mobile use. I start back to college tomorrow as my other 2 degrees have done me no good in getting a job in the last year and half

Old pic, since changed audio monitors/wiring and baffling has changed/improved as well.

I really dislike the log-jam on the side of the laptop... looking forward to TB hubs that don't suck, and are also not overpriced.

Bit of a change from my last post. Got a new desk, got rid of my Thunderbolt Display and TV and replaced them with an Asus PB278Q. The xbox also moves to the drawer to the right which has holes for breathing along with a fan attachmebt on the xbox

Pictured (left to right):

iPad Mini (16GB)
Audioengine A2
Elevation Dock for iPhone 5 (taking the photos)
Asus PB278Q (27", 2560x440)
rMBP (2.6Ghz, 16GB, 512GB

The Desk

Ikea Vika Byske Tabletop
Ikea Vika Alex Drawer Units

Not pictured
Xbox 360 S
Airport Express (sends music to the A2s aswell as extending my WiFi)
Netgear Ethernet Switch
Astro A50 Gaming Headset

Needless to say I love the fact that nothing that has to be on the desk is hidden away but still usable! The desk itself it brilliant, huge amount of storage & it looks great! I really like the solidity of the hardwood desk top as opposed to the fiberboard you usually get at Ikea

To be honest it doesn't quite work as well as it should for the price. I know the iPhone 5 support was tacked on at the end, but I would have been willing to wait a few months if that meant they could figure something out. The main issue is that the phone sits too well with the connector, making it difficult to pry the phone out of the dock without a bit more force...

Thanks for the info. I'll probably go with Belkins.

Hopefully I'll be getting a new desk soon. This is my 2009 MBP (8GB DDR3, 500GB HDD). The monitor is mounted to the wall and I have a Dell TV for watching the news as background entertainment:

...Don't know what is flipping the image

That would annoy me having my iPhone sitting right in front of my monitor like that.Too each their own though. :D Also, you should try getting that power strip on the floor/out of site.

To not be a negative post, I really do dig your desk though!

I just put it like that for the photo! :D I don't have a dock for it yet - I just USB it in and set it flat on the desk for now. It's actually my iPod touch (latest model). I also am missing an iPad 3 - sold it to my dad while I wait for iPad 5, but I realized I should have waited because I'm sorely missing it!

And I hear you on the power strip. Trying to get some extenders to make everything reach with it on the floor.
