I have a similar LED desk lamp. Is that the best angle? I haven't tried it for fear of interfering with the Mac screen light. I kinda of have it parallel as opposed to your right angle.

Probably boils down to individual taste anyway.

Could you provide more information on the desk? What type of wood is that? And is the wood treatment clear/near transparent or a colored stain? Looking to build my own wood desk

I got it from Target, but I haven't seen it there in a while, and their website says it is not available online, so I am not sure if they still make it.

Even later reaction on my end: I've been backcountry backpacking and was removed from the internet for two weeks. I've always wanted to convert a G4 iMac into a monitor, thanks for the link! Maybe if I get some time one of these days I'll try the conversion...
 
Work setup. Moved from a cubicle to an office the other day. 23" Cinema HD Display running off the MBP in my sig. We all know what those look like by now anyway lol

Chair is a Herman Miller Celle. Desks from Dania.

Keyboards are cheap. I work a lot, need caffiene. I've never spilled anything on my desk near my keyboard.

Now that I said that, I'm totally going to spill coffee on my keyboard tomorrow. Thanks a lot, jerk.
 
Kkkk. I have had a colleague spill on his laptop and trying to rescue it with a vacuum hover with no success
