My current setup, and I've done away with my wired alu keyboard I've had since 2009. It's been boxed for when I need it again, and I also got the magic trackpad. Which is rather good.

What webcam is that? Logitech? Compatible with Mac?

Big fan of the LG 34um95

Its been some time since I've felt so impressed with a desktop upgrade. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Sorry for the sub par photo, I'll post a better one later on! Thanks!

Oh, here is a pic of the mount if anyone is interested. Its the Ergotron LX Dual mount (tall). Highly recommended! It handles the load like a champ.

Hello,

a minor update on things regarding my setup. Moved the iMac G4 into the dinning room as it never got used, so it works as a music streamer. I also got a couple more GPO rotary dial phones for the collection and a Bell and Howell 414 double 8mm cine camera, the same type used by Abraham Zapruder to capture the JFK assasination back in 1963. I've just shot some B&W film with it which is currently in the process of being developed and telecined in HD.

Thank you for the picture! Was wondering how it'll look when you stack 2 ultrawides on top of each other. :)

Amazing setup btw!

Niiiiceeeee!

[Curious about the bell though?]

Oh that. That's how I tell my wife I need refills on my coffee.

Kidding!

My wife and I have a puppy and we train it to ask for treats by hitting the bell with her paw.

Just switched from a "Early 2013" Retina MacBook Pro to a "Late 2013" New Mac Pro. That new Mac Pro looks so nice I had to revamp my desk.

Below is a picture taken a month ago. it was my best effort using what I had to organize cables and create a docking spot for the rMBP. Cables are mostly tied together and neatly wrapped on the ground, but far from perfect.

With the new Mac Pro, I implemented the following:
  • nMP 6-core 1TB 64GB D700s
  • Cable wall management between desk, wall shelf, stand, ground.
  • Cable boxes for surge protector and excess cable
  • Cable wrap to cover wires between items.
  • Replaced traditional speakers with a space saving portable speaker, placed on new wall shelf
  • Added cheap $20 metal stand from Lowes with a few fabric storage containers.
  • Replaced most cables with longer versions to route together. Including an all-in-one 10' VGA to mini-displayport cables for side monitors. Thinner than a VGA cable, plus no giant adapter on the back of the nMP.

It's amazing what I little effort can do to really transform a desk:

Here and there

iMac for work, Mini for play. Windows box is relegated to serving content for the Apple TV and other computers. Still working on the wires to get them hidden nicely.
