Hi!

This is my old Emac, from where my girlfriend like to blog. It works as the first day, but obviously is too old even to see a video in Youtube, but it keeps the feeling and look of the early days of Apple. I Love it.

I loved my eMac. It was a great machine for sure. If I still had the computer, it would be turning 10 this month!

Get Leopard in your Mac if you have some time, it will be the most stable OS for it. Besides, that machine is excellent for working with plain text and markup files. Thus, it is the best environment for focused work and writing with no distractions.

Thanks for sharing the awesome photo. Gracias.

EDIT: Changed suggestion from Snow Leopard to only Leopard.

Snow Leopard won't run on it; as far as I can tell, it's running Leopard anyway which is the latest OS for PowerPC Macs.

Anyway, my current setup:

jXEqbDT.jpg

My 13-inch MacBook Pro (Late 2011) with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD, set in a Twelve South BookArc and connected to the 23-inch LG IPS237L (as is my XBOX 360, which isn't pictured but located on top of the cabinet next to the Mac). There's also a Twelve South BassJump and 1TB Time Capsule next to the display.

On the right, there's my iPad (4th gen) 32GB Wi-Fi with a modded "tan" Smart Cover, my woodskinned Moto G (2013) and my iPod nano (6th gen) which I'm using as a watch until my Moto 360 arrives.

Me and my Setup (New Super 8 Camera)

Hello,

Nothing much has changed, I just got another camera for my collection A Sankyo Sound XL-40S Super 8 camera, came with Microphone and instructions, overall fantastic condition.

I have a new telephone arriving next week a 1920s GPO 150 Candlestick. This is a phone i've always wanted in my collection, but they have always been slightly out of budget at about £300-£400. Finally thought i'd treat myself though.

Thanks,

This is my work setup. Three screens connected to my 11" Macbook Air via a couple USB graphics adapters and the thunderbolt port. It all sits on a height-adjustable desk. Very nice to work on. Headphones are Sennheiser HD 280 Pro.
The two large screens are also connected to a high-end PC for CAD work. The black mouse is for the PC. The magic mouse is for the laptop. Monitors are 24" 1080p Dells with another Dell at 1280x1024. It all works out nicely. I have a template to chop up pictures for my four screens that adjusts for different DPI, bezels, and space between monitors.

What kind of desk are you using. It looks beautiful.

Mac? Eh. It's a Hack. A little over a month ago, I sold my ole' 2008 Mac Pro, and built this baby. OS X is temperamental at the moment, so I've been using Windows 8.1. I suppose the iMac is the redeeming "Mac" in my "Mac" setup. It's an original 20" iMac G4 with the display modified to accept a DVI connection, and powered by an Intel NUC. Vintage aesthetic, modern hardware.

Nice, very much so. What devices do you use to playback from Plex?
