I use a matrox dual head 2 go for my dual displays, they offer a triple head version which gives you 3 DVI outputs where the dual head gives you 2 DVI outputs

It just spans your desktop across 2 lcds, so you don't get to have the menu bar on one screen - the menu bar is the right the way across both screens. That was a paint for me when i first bought it but i have gotten used to it. How ever if you use it with windows based environment like in VMware. There are drivers to allow you to have the true dual displays

Yes its a bloody pain let me tell you. You try and watch a video say in VLC, it will make the video appears in the middle of the screen. So it basically over laps 2 screens

They sound really nice. Made for smaller rooms (300 sq ft). I am very pleased with them.

thats where I got mine. They are the older ones so its a nice deal. The new ones are crazy expensive.
