Here's my current setup, the wife got ahold of the iMac with the nice desk :(.

It's temporary until I finish my stay here in Japan.

I use a matrox dual head 2 go for my dual displays, they offer a triple head version which gives you 3 DVI outputs where the dual head gives you 2 DVI outputs

It just spans your desktop across 2 lcds, so you don't get to have the menu bar on one screen - the menu bar is the right the way across both screens. That was a paint for me when i first bought it but i have gotten used to it. How ever if you use it with windows based environment like in VMware. There are drivers to allow you to have the true dual displays

do you have problems with pop up notifications coming in the middle of the two screens?

where did you get that desk? it looks similar to mine, just smaller.
