I am in love with your desk. Can you lemme know where you got it? Its exactly what i want!

thanks

I did some poking around. I bought it at Staples, but they had discontinued it (at least at the store I was at). It's made by Z-Line Designs:

http://www.z-linedesigns.com/

You might be able to find some stuff on Google where to locate them, or perhaps something direct with them. Give it a look. I really love this desk and couldn't believe how perfect it was when I was searching desks out.

EDIT: It looks like it might still be available, just not in stores. Look in the Home Office section at the ZIII Matrix line. The desk is on the left side.

Home setup...

Great setup. Off-chance, how did you get your desktop screen to fill your TV? I'm having an issue w/ mine at home where it doesn't fill the whole thing. I'm using ScreeRes X and it helps, but it doesn't get all the way to the left and right edges.

btw...love the Bud cooler. Man I want one of those!

What connection do you use? I had the same problem but only because I only took my big screen to University not my normal monitor and I only had the Displayport to DVI rather than VGA which is what that screen supports so I was having to use an HDMI cable instead, and that's what caused res problems. I've got the right adapter now, but have a look into that maybe?

Interesting notion. I bought a DVI-to-HDMI cable and it seems to transmit fine (even though my TV's documentation states a computer hooked up to HDMI will not work...weird). I have not tried other ports, however. If anything I'd have to do a DVI-to-VGA?

Will there be a quality loss w/ the VGA when viewing high definition video via DVD or iTunes/Front Row?

if you're using a unibody macbook then the displayport adapters only output signal for the type you've used. ie: if you use displayport to vga it will only output vga not dvi as well like previous macbooks have, therefore vga to dvi adapters will not work..hence why I had to use a dvi to hdmi adapter for a while..which did work in the sense that it transmitted the video signal but it just doesn't fit the display. basically if your monitor supports vga you need a displayport to vga, if it supports dvi you need displayport to dvi...you can't use an adapter to switch between them. apple are ripping you for double the money but oh well :)

When you're taking pictures of you Mac's iTunes visualizer, press "command f" and it will go full screen, making for a better picture without seeing the dock.
