Mine is a Logitech Cordless Click! mouse. It has the little USB adapter and I got it for only like $34 at Wal Mart. It's a great mouse. I might have got a MS one, but I couldn't find out on the box if it used a USB adapter.

I have the microsoft intellimouse explorer for bluetooth and yes, it did come with a bluetooth dongle, but no i don't use it. My powerbook has built in bluetooth, so i don't need it...

Ok thats it I'm pulling no stops!

This is a temporary thread derailment.

For the last 4 weeks I've seen iGary's avatar change like 6 times, ALL of them Steve Jobs photos. Seemingly personal photos as I've never seen them in the press at all.

Gary where in the Apple Core are you getitng these aavatars. i just cannot believe how many you have found.

Do these look familiar...
Steve Jobs 1
Steve Jobs 2
Steve Jobs 3
Steve Jobs 4
Steve Jobs 5
Steve Jobs 6
Steve Jobs 7
Steve Jobs 8
Steve Jobs 9

Google Image search for "Steve Jobs" and it will include all of these and more.

hey man, does the microsoft wireless mouse have a usb thing (bluetooth) or is it straight wireless no cords, because all the ones i can find that aren't apple brand other than The BT mice and the macally ones, i would prefer a microsoft or a logitech one, so is yours or does it use an little usb adapter?

its got a usb thing... but its below and doesnt need to be in viewable line. so you can tuck it away in the draws and it still works a treat (but takes up a usb)

Wait ... im confused...

Do you want one with a USB adapter, or one with bluetooth?

If your looking for non-apple bt, I would consider the Logitech MX900 (Which was replaced by the MX1000, but its rf not bt)

Amazon still carries it:

okay, i'm confused, there is a dongle? then how is it bluetooth, then its just like the wireless logitech mouse i have now. this is WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:

bluetooth mouse (not apple, with scroll and other buttons)

no charger, no dongle no nothing, just uses batteries, like the apple one but not, is there such thing, and no i don't want a macally one!!!

The logitech MX900 that I pointed out has a dock, but you dont need to use it...It connects via bt either through the dock, or through your built in bt card. I think it also uses AA bateries.

edit: Yeah, it does use AA batteries

The MX900 isn't on Logitech's page anymore, so it may be hard to find, and if I remember correctly it wasn't mac compatible. This mouse however is;

Logitech® V270 Cordless Optical Notebook Mouse for Bluetooth®
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/CA/EN,CRID=2135,CONTENTID=10916

It also uses AA batteries.

Just for the record, I use an MX900 with my Powerbook every day. The buttons are all mappable to Expose or Dashboard, as well. :)

What I meant was that it doesn't work with Logitech's Control Center in System Preferences.

Amazing!! I have OCD, so I love anything thats sleek and organized.

When I move my G4 into my room in a year or two, I hope to make it as clean looking as that. Simply amazing!
