The speakers are from Logitech. Model 5300

I got a really good deal on them about a year ago. They sound great and for my needs are perfect. The Sub is big but I have it under the desk and works well to rest my feet on when playing FEAR. They sound very nice for music and movies as well. I listen to alot of music.....

I finally got my new setup together! The next purchases on me list are an iCurve, an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and probably a 3rd party Bluetooth mouse. I would get Apple's, but I really need a scroll wheel by now... I'm thinking about getting MacMice's The Mouse BT. Okay... anyway! Here's my new setup:

Nice one Glenn Wolsey. So, a month of iBook + iMac combo... Reckon you'll have to buy your own after that?

I'm doing a 3 way share with my sister, mum, and myself for a MacBook. I would buy one myself but I want a MacPro + ACD next year :)

The best layout I could get in my dorm. It's great though when girls are using it and they "lose" the cursor on the top screen. And don't even get me started on hot corners!!

Oh my god, you too!! I'm in a dorm also, and that exact same thing happens to me. Glad to hear it's not just the people here!

"Oh gosh, where'd the mouse go?"
"Ack what did I do?! All the windows moved and the screen went dark.."

*sigh*

I got bored so I made another pic of my current "Powerbook study area." Note that the books in the image do not comprise my entire collection, merely ones I am reading and referencing presently. :D

I'm starting to think I move too much.

Here's my setup at my new office -- this one is located in the Old City Hall building, pretty much the nicest office building in town. I'm signed into a lease on this one -- so I won't be moving for a good long while.

There's some new equipment this time around, too -- notably, I sold by iBook and picked up a PowerBook, and I picked up a professional Sony HD monitor -- the quality is so amazing, it makes my 30" set look like SD!

17, BTW -- Video production really pays off! :)

like your setup seasought! what's that "cult of mac" book like?

S

It's great actually, I'm having a hard time putting it down. It really dives into what the culture of Mac fans is like. The chapter I'm on now is "Macs in Japan" and I just finished reading about the MacWorld expo, some short quotes from those that attended.

It really covers the full spectrum of the community - individuals that have stood out with their fanatacism to the product and the reasoning behind such fanatacism. Definitely worth picking up, I'm glad I did! :D

How much does a office like that cost to lease? I'd like to rent out an office for the stuff I do.

The going rate for my office is $400 per month, plus a "common area maintenence" fee. C.A.M. pays for the maintenence (eletricity, janitor, etc.) for the halls and common areas of the building -- it's split between all the tenants.

Keep in mind, though, I'm in a small town - in a city like Detroit or Chicago, the rent would be much higher.

Here are some of my pics. Note the closed iBook on the night table. Everything's in the sig. Sorry I didn't have time to tidy up.
