I posted my set up a while back, but I've moved since then, added new additions and done some modding...

plus, I'm awaiting some new gear around the 24th, so I figured I'd post my before, current...then the after when they arrive lol.

are those ipod docks mounted INTO the desk!?!

EDIT: in the first pic, you have a black 5G but in the new ones you have a white one. whats that story?

yup, fully mounted and dockable, saves on space.
they are the same ipod, it's just in a black skin in the first pic.

depends on the tools you have to hand.
I had a drill, a chisel, scalpel, ruler, pen, glue and sand paper lol. (and of course the ipod dock connector's and the sync cables)

took about an hour and a quarter not including glue drying time.
there are close ups on my flickr page, I still need to cut an outline have them lay flush with the desk.

It's very cool what you've done with those docks.

That second screen is awful, though

lol, tell me about it, it's actually the first TFT I ever owned, got it with a PC about 2 years ago,
I have a new one arriving around the 24th, then that one is going into the attic.

Nice one Shadow. Minimalist yet slightly chaotic. What's the blue liquid in the bottle? :p

That would be liquid gel disinfectant

Setup Update

Alright, so I decided to update my setup since I cleared out my table more and got a new LCD for my computer(s).

OLD SETUP

The screen was nice, but I wanted something widescreen that was like a 20in Apple LCD, but not worth 700+ dollars. So i got the next best thing, I went to Best Buy and got me a widescreen 19in. LCD instead. It was only 300 dollars and didn't have to pay that extra 400 dollars for the extra inch from Apple.

(Apple USB Keyboard and Mighty Mouse are connected to 1 USB hub which I switch from PC to Mac).

Aside from this, I use the Apple Keyboard and the Mighty Mouse as my main input devices instead of using 2 different ones. This way I have less clutter and all i have to do was change 1 USB port from computer to computer. I could have gone with the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard from apple since my PC also has bluetooth, but I figured that this was better since I like to play fast paced games on my PC and Bluetooth equipment might give me lag.

Oh yeah, I still use the iHome as my speakers, the remote for it is right next to the keyboard.
