NICE how do you like it? I was thinking about upgrading my Mac Powerbook G4.. Is it fast, and what applications do you use and how do they work with that computer?

iBook G4 - 1,33 Ghz - 60 Gb - 512mb - 10.4.6 Tiger - iCurve
PowerMac G5 - Dual 2,0 Ghz - 4Gb - 250 Gb - 10.4.6 Tiger
Apple Cinema Display 23"
Gemini UMX Special edition mixer

Nice setup, clean! Wish I had a big display like that... it can never be big enough!

Whats the mixer for? It looks more like an office type of setup... didnt see any other DJ related stuff ;)

Normally i also have a midi keyboard installed but that one is at my brothers place at the moment. But the mixer is mainly for playing with traktor a bit, also use it for logic. But i primarely use the mixer when i have to do a show in a club or something. Then I use it in combination with turntables or cd players and my ibook running traktor. I wish i had al that gear at home too.. but you can't have it all:eek:

Congrats, how do you like the new MacBook? I love the innovative design of the latch, and the new way to replace the RAM and the HDD is also quite freaking awesome. I cant wait to see what they do with these features in the future and in the MBP line. Also, what are the specs of the PB pushing the ACD?

a slight alteration to my setup = more tidy and looking straight ahead instead of to the side (watch DVD's in bed woohoo!).

Looks like Loughborough Uni student halls to me ;) - hardly the best desk lamp to match all the Apple loveliness! :D

I just wish the mighty mouse would detect right clicks like it should, and like they say it does.

Yeah my Mighty Mouse isn't the "real" 2 button mouse Apple advertises. It takes it a second or two for the right click to register. I hate that, and sometimes I even resort to using the Control key just because it's quicker.

Yeah, I usually do too. That just doesn't work so well when you're playing WoW though... :).

Here is my newest arrangement. Not shown is my 4gb Nano, Dell 4550 p4 desktop, HP LaserJet 1012 printer, 300gb Maxtor HD, apple keyboard, and Canon LiDE 30 Scanner. Hidden in the pic next to my printer is my Razr. Underneath my landline phone is my totally awesome floppy drive.

I know, none of the furniture really matches. But I love my 7ft wide window.
