Hopefully this is my Set Up for awhile. LOL

I didn't like the way I treated my MacBook so I sold it and will be now sticking to iMac's. Just the 17" 2.0GHz iMac SuperDrive, ATi X1600 because I'll be connecting this to my 37" Sharp AQUOS LC-37D90U 1080p LCD HDTV...I returned the 42" Westinghouse LVM-42W2 because of too many issues! I only paid $200 more for this. Also the pic shows my HD DVD's, at 40 since July! :)

I forgot I even upgraded my bed also, LOL Full King Koil (Lady Katherine Pocket II with Euro Top). LOL

Hey Stranger. :)

I definatly recognised the pictures from the 'file.

Thanks! LOL, actually I got the wired KB/mighty mouse plus mousepad on purpose, I've used couple sets of wireless on my PC, just got tired of changing batteries and the motion feels more smooth with mousepad. Wireless indeed is more clean, I agree. Hmmm...you got me all thinking to exchange this set back to the store for wireless, since I only bought it last week.

I love the setup and am very jealous of the equipment! Mine's more of a 'white room' - but I heartily recommend the new mighty mouse (wireless) as it tracks on all surfaces - wired one needs a pad really.

Get yourself some rechargable batteries - mine last me weeks on end (especially the keyboard)

Learn keyboard shortcuts and you'll curb the mouse eating the batteries too much.

Just my ten pence worth!

Thats a nice clean setup, but those speakers look alot like the Z-5500D's. They sound great.

Yes, the speakers are Logitech Z-5500s. I've had them for a couple years now. I was referring to the keyboard and mouse set, the S530 desktop for Mac.

thats what i was gonna say.
what a nice setup

Guess I should be clearer about what I'm referring to...I just didn't think about it.

Thanks for the compliments!

Lol, I don't drink, I don't smoke, I am a good father, a good husband, I work out, I jog three times a week, so I had to fall off the wagon somewhere!! :D Heck, if I stopped buying/selling macs I would be able to afford drinking and smoking and that may be a bad thing!! :D

The TV is sitting in my parents basement now and in its place is an RCA tv from about 1994. That TV got replaced by a 42 inch wall mounted plasma and surround sound speakers, EyeTV, the works, its too bad I don't live there anymore.

how do you find that keyboard? i see you've used a few...

I love it. Its short travel is really nice, and it feels really stable. It's a little louder than the Apple keyboard though, but I like the overall look and feel and the media buttons are very useful. One feature I thought was stupid but now I find myself using more than ever is the volume buttons on the mouse. Wow are those handy!

LOL yeah I have used a few kb/mouse sets. I'm really picky about input devices. The oldest one you can see in the shots on my desktop, the Cordless MX700 Desktop, was probably the best in its day. But it was getting long in the tooth and I needed a laser mouse, so I got the MX5000. Biggest mistake ever. It felt great, but that damn thing would never stay connected, the keyboard and the mouse would freeze up for no reason, you would have to screw with it for 10 minutes sometimes to get it connected when you booted the computer...it sucked. All that happened in both Windows and Linux, with and without drivers installed, so I know it wasn't a software issue. After awhile, I demanded a replacement with a different model because TWO other people (one of them being my roommate) were experiencing the exact same problems. Logitech refused and sent me the same model, which of course experienced the same problems. My friend is now arguing with them about the same issues. Normally I absolutely love Logitech products, but that one was a huge dud. A huge, expensive dud -- that was the priciest combo yet, at MSRP$149; I got it for $120.
