Hmmm Halogen; sounds like that lamp could be used for other purposes in early spawningThat, and the fact that it has a halogen bulb.
Nothing too special. The crappy thing is, I had an all-white desk before my parents forced me to move the iMac out (grades were slipping and I came home late from my curfew on first night out with license) to the granite desk, in my "Tech Center." I'll post my PC one rig in the Windows one.

Yes, I shattered the front screen on my RAZR. It was cool at first (looked like the japanese setting-sun type of thing) but now the shards are poking my fingers and getting me all bloody sometimes. At least I can still read the time.![]()
I accidentally left my Mighty Mouse at the dorm which explains the Microsoft mouse.
agreed, no need to feel shame for ms keyboards/mouses.That mouse is perfectly serviceable -- very similar the one I use all the time.
No need to apologize for a damn fine peripheral.
Sauki Alex do u have a link to that background?
Thanks
Saluki Alex,
I want to know what all the awards and certificates are for. I say you should post these to Flickr and then use the little comment boxes to annotate everything.![]()
Nice work. Go get 'em.Ok, IMG_0027, IMG_0023, and IMG_0032 have been annotated so you can tell what all those awards are.
I figured that I would further explain my closet/office. (Primarily because I just got a new digital camera and feel compelled to use it.)
This is the door that's to the left of my desk. The bulletin board is covered in things from my junior and senior years of high school (mostly badges to conventions and events that I attended as well as stickers and pins that people gave to me). The mouse-pad and fraternity stuff that are above and below the board are new additions to the door though.
This is the bookshelf that sits behind me. You can see that my Apple boxes take up much of the top shelf. And yes, that is a Democratic bear to the right of the Microsoft Office box. It was a souvenir from a trip to D.C., ironically enough, it was made here in Illinois.
This is the view to the right of my desk. You can now see that this is a closet. Yes, that is indeed a life-size John Kerry cut-out, it was one of the things that I've kept from the 2004 elections. You can also somewhat see the door that leads to my bedroom to the far right of the picture.
This picture was taken from the door into my bedroom.
There is still one last improvement that I plan on making to my "office," this summer, I plan on adding a built-in desk that will run the entire length of that alcove area instead of using the tiny writing desk that I have now.
As it is though, I already have one of, if not the only closet wired for high-speed internet.
Newly aquired Macbook, you can also see my WD Drive, camera dock and USB Hub

Nice, i just bought a WD drive identicle to that. got it for 120CAD for 250GB at best buy yesterday. It's a great looking external to say the least, matches the 360 in the dark with the green ring. haha. Enjoy that setup.

I like the "I <3 Trees" sticker on the cork board, attached to the wooden door, in the all-wood lined room.![]()
We all go through that phase....czI never noticed the irony, haha. It's actually an Element Skateboard sticker that one of my friends gave to me for the board when I was trying to be a skater. Sadly, I never could get the hang of it.
Hi there, first of all I'd like to say hello... it's my first post here
I've just seen this thread and reminded me of a photo a made about a year ago... From top to bottom:
12" iBook G3/700
Macintosh Classic
G4/400 AGP
G5/1.8 SP
The iBook and the G4 are gone, and now I have a 15" PowerBook and a shiny new 23" display. Also owned a G3/466 graphite clamshell iBook.
Regards,
Juande
