That's pretty cool, what are the wires going into the chair for?
Yeah, there's a subwoofer in the chair and speakers behind where my head is when I sit in it. Listening to music it is leveled out with my front speakers and when watching movies the rear speakers are used for surround sound.

Goo Gone, or some 91% Alcohol should take it right off without hurting the finish, or if you can get ahold of some Kay Chemicals Write-Away, that'll knock it off FAST. Powerful stuff.
