My new 20" iMac. I LOVE IT!!

And yes, that's one of those plastic chairs that's meant to be outside. Been using it for as long as I can remember. I dig it.

I definitely have to try the new KB out. I already think its a great design. Now it's just a question of how good it is to type on and if it's solid enough not to flap around when typed on. It's so thin.

I'm posting a few pics of various setups I've had over the years.

This one is the first one I ever even thought to take pictures of at all. Power Mac G3 450 MHz, along with a TiBook 500 MHz

Here's my iMac G4 800 MHz, along with the same TiBook from before. I still think this was the best computer design.

Now we move to the iMac G5 2.0 GHz, with an iBook G4 1.42 GHz.

Finally, the most current setup. 20"iMac 2.4 GHz, with a 1st gen BlackBook 2.0 GHz

drewfus, nice setup, I really like the hutch thing and the way its all symmetrical

haha...I attribute that to my faux OCD. :D

On a more serious note, I can't take credit for the desk. I'm renting an apartment in Miami that's fully furnished, so I sort of adapted myself to the surroundings and not the other way around.

Here ya go! Had to make the file a bit smaller...if you want the full sized one, PM me.

ok, a little update from the last page...

I hated that green tablecloth (which was like one of those plastic outdoor ones, very sweaty) so I replaced it with a light grey cloth i found...I like this so much better... I can't wait until the new ipods come out also, so I can get rid of that nano and replace it with a full sized one in a dock...

I have a question about the ball. How is it using it as a normal desk chair? Is it comfortable? etc.

The ball takes some getting used to, but I never want to go back to a regular chair.

Now, granted, it will never be as comfortable as a nice big padded, form fitted chair, but I noticed myself constantly slouching and leaning back and getting in as close to a laying down position as possible in my old chair. I didn't like this because it made me feel stagnant and tired. It is perfect for those who have to be or find themselves in front of the computer for long periods of time and want to get some exercise in.

The ball forces you to do a few things:
1. keep your balance and stay more in tune with your center of gravity
2. use your midsection to keep you seated
3. keep your back straight and have better posture

On top of that, there are a ton of exercises to do on the ball, so when I'm bored or have nothing to do, I'll just roll back and do some crunches or whatever on the ball, then roll back up and continue to use the computer. Sometimes it's fun to just play some iTunes and bounce around on it, it's just added exercise during times when I would normally not be getting any.

Search google, there's tons of sites talking about how good it is (health wise), sorry for being so long winded, but I really enjoy the ball.

Cool, maybe I'll grab one from Argos or something then.

heres my setup, sorry for the disgusting pictures, I can't find my camera so I had to use my RAZR's spectacular Camera.

I have a SR MBP connected to a dell 22" monitor with logitech z-4 speakers, a mybook premium, and a canon AIO called the MP510 (got for free with MBP)

not bad for a 15 year old (please don't call me spoiled, I do web design and make movies and paid for it all myself)

I'll put up my homepage once I find a cheep (or free) domain (that can handle flash (maybe they all can, IDK)), anyone have any recommendations?

I will take pics with a really camera once I find it.

I am also going to get a new chair since this one has nails coming up that occasional go into my legs ;).
