Yes, I feel your pain. Even a little bit of dust will render my wired MM a POS.

I turn it on it's side, and roll the ball about while blowing furiously on it.

It works.

That's what I do sadly. I also rub it (violently at times) on a lint free fabric which allows it to work for a few more hours. I'll probably get it replaced and then sell it.

I'm about to punt my wireless Mighty Mouse across the room. It always stops scrolling down and I have to clean it like 4-5 times a day for it to scroll a little. I'm a very clean person and never eat and 'mouse' at the same time. It's very frustrating.

I clean mine once a week and its still going strong, I got it replaced within the first 6 months thought because the centre (dashboard) button stopped working, but apart from that, it's served me well for 2 1/2 years now.

I wish the dongle on mine was that small. It sticks out like an inch & 1/4.. too much for my taste. Wish they made it w BT..

Cleanup: what's that second one?

Schtumple The rents have the Mighty Mouse, and as long as they clean it once in a while it works great for them. It's a mouse you have to maintain I guess.

It's very small. I recently lost the receiver and had to order a replacement for it.

Cleanup's mouse looks to be the VX revolution. It's in between the VX nano and MX revolution.

picked up the wireless mightymouse yesterday... the MX revo is on sale for 79.99 at bestbuy for a limited time but I really needed that extra USB port for my Macbook.

Microsoft and Apple in a sweet combo, same colors too :p

Microsoft Optical Mouse 500 (white)

My current mouse is similar to that, but unbranded, a few years old and very crap. Wheel works but rather than scrolling in one direction will dance around. Clicks are very loud and very hard to make.

My other mouse (in repair) is a Razer Diamondback 3G

Oh and a wireless Mighty Mouse that I don't use. It possibly is the worst mouse I've used thanks to lag, button response, 360 ball clogging up, weight (BT model), super short battery life and that whole "let go completely of the left mouse button to use the right one".

Mainly I use my trackpad, But sometimes I will use this Logitech trackball.

I do however have an OLD Apple MM (BlueTooth) but it's "tracking" sucks now and the scroll ball is always in need of cleaning like every week so it was too much to deal with so I retired it.

be very jealous. i am getting a hold of one of these bombs soon.

You know they are plastic, right? Even the bits that look like metal. I found it horrible to use as the faux-aluminum slipped inder your fingers. Hope you like it anyway.:)
