you people are killing me! i want to hack it so badly, but I also have a personal pet peave of putting all my music that I hand picked off of my computer onto my ipod. i dont want to ahve to do that again. though I realize that the new 1.1.2 update probably wont break the ipod, Im sure that most will have to restore their ipods after that. I will wait until that happens to make my decision, also... the not upgrading argument holds no water with me since there are still tons of noticeable bugs in the ipt. Unless the third party hackers are planning on fixing those, I think Ill just wait until a stable version of the ipt kernel is out...

however, looking at all these awesome springboard pictures is making me want to run home and hack away!!!! all that being said, please keep them coming because I love living through your pictures :-D

how are you guys able to take such clear screen shots of your ipod touch? is there a program to "snap"/capture the screen like on mac's?

dumb question i know just really wanted to know

Are you blind? Maybe you dont actually use a Mac.... its on the second page of apps. Any Mac user can close his/her eyes and visualize the Finder icon.

Apparently you didn’t read the post where I said I found it and apologize for that, or perhaps you are just bent on being a jackass. I was looking for the spotlight icon rather than the finder icon... thus, my mistake.

Secondly, your 'any Mac user' comments come off as incredibly shallow by trying to debunk anything I saw w/ the 'mac newb'-esque comments. Come on man, was that all really that necessary? Are you really that pretentious?

these springboards are awesome... i love it. It's amazing to see how fast this all has happened, though I realize alot of it is being built off of the work done for hte iphone, its cool to see it work out like that.

Did anyone notice that apple lauched there online mac app repository. I looked at it for about 5 minutes and got bored and went back to looking at all these native apps.

Are there any new apps for the ipod touch or are all these ports from the iphone? Anyone know? Thanks! :)

Here is mine. Nothing fancy, just the regular stuff...but I'm loving it! I bought the Touch knowing the hackers would get at it and make it way better than Apple ever could.

iSplit: "Quickly split up a bill among multiple parties"
Very useful when you're out with your friends trying to figure out how to pay for dinner and drinks :)

Quick question. Did you do anything special to get iphone apps weather and Stocks on the 2nd page? I thought that they always appeared before the 3rd party apps.

Thanks!

Nope, I haven't done any rearranging. That's actually the next thing I was planning to work on.

I love the way I organized my Springboard: Internet, Productivity, Utilities, Games, and Settings.

Quick question. I haven't hacked my touch yet, but I was wondering if you had to have the icon for installer.app on your springboard? I really only want the iphone apps (and a chat app), so I can't see needing it after I finish instalilng everything.

Necessary, or no?
