I nearly finished it the way I like.

can you tell me what source or were you found the Finder.app???

Is there a way, or an application, that will allow me to turn dock reflection on or off on the fly without having to install and uninstall Dock Icon Reflection Remover?

Here's my springboard:

http://www.touchrepo.com/Tweaks/NewPreferences.zip

Put these files in your Applications/Preferences.app/
(By the way: These files are specifically made for the iPod touch. Remember to back up too!)

and turn off "Use New Dock" and the Dock will look exactly like iPhones... even the text will be displayed on the gray strip at the bottom.

I actually changed a few things to it. Rearranged some icons and did some stuff with the wallpaper. If you like it, I'll upload it somewhere. Just let me know.

Also, if anyone has any black and white icons that may fit the mold please let me know and post in this thread.

Thanks very much. After I installed that however, I couldn't find a place to change what you said to change. What do I click on? as the application I put in the folder has no icon on the springboard

EDIT:I figured it out/

Ok, so I am going to assume you have SMB and Customize

Extract the .zip file to your desktop (or wherever) then SFTP into your iPod Touch

Put the whole folder into /private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes

To just add the dock, grab the dock file and the icons for music, videos, safari, mail, and settings and put them into a theme of yours

Then, using Customize, set it to a five icon dock, then arrange the dock in any way you want with those five apps, as long as safari is in the middle

To get it to look it's best, add the source www.touchrepo.com/repo.xml and install dock icon reflection removal under the tweaks catagory

i know this was posted a while ago but when i set this up the dock theme is underneath the dock icons. any idea what i did wrong

no pic

i dont really have a way to take a picture but ill try to explain it.

if you split the dock theme in half the top half would run along the bottom of the screen so that the top of the center circle (where the safari icon would go) barely touches the bottom of the actual safari option

all the icons are in place but its as though the whole dock background theme thing got moved down half an inch

Buttah, you can install an app called Screenshot through installer. It is what everyone has been using to post their springboards in this thread. It may be helpful in people understanding your problem.

if you install "dock" then you can do screenshots by swiping from the bottom right corner to the "screenshot" icon, then ssh to /tmp, and it'll be called foo_0.png.

hi, i'm posting my question here because of how many summerboard users will see this thread.

i deleted summerboard but now can not change my background image. its just black. i have re-set my phone a few times, tried and tried new images to use.. nothing.
i even re-installed summerboard and deleted it again.. but nothing.!

please help1!

if you uninstall summerboard, then your background will go to black, as summerboard allows you to set custom wallpapers, so removing it will set it back to the default black.

unless there's a problem i'm not seeing...

How do you separate your apps in two (or more) SpringBoard windows? I would love to have my iPod + iPhone apps in first window and all the rest in second window.
