How does it perform? I am curious on this super small form factor and its ability to control heat dissipation.

It performs amazingly well! Until this week, it was running XBMC, plugged into my television and would play everything under the sun without a hiccup. I just replaced it with a Raspberry Pi 2, which surprisingly performs just as well.

I'm planning on selling the NUC now, as I have no use for it. But it's definitely no slouch! I'd definitely recommend the NUC for general use.

Before you got the LG widescreen monitor did you have multiply displays? and if so how did find going from multiple screens to one screen?

Hey, sorry I didn't notice this before. I used to run a 23" and 20" cinema display on there. I don't particularly miss them, but I still tend to prefer things being centered! So sometimes my windows will cluster towards the center of the screen with overlap while I'm wasting the edges lol.
