My iPhone. Fun toy, lousy phone. I will keep this untill Nokia comes out with something better.

Not sure about those skins - I would be concerned that if you set your phone down on top of a magazine or newspaper and it rings, you might not be able to readily find it in time to answer it. Nicely varnished finger nails though ;)

LOL :D, and thanks ;):p

you know, that reminds me... i used to have this pink camo thermos.... and i was in a pink forest and dropped it... never did find the damn thing! :p

I can't get OS 4.5, witch is supported by RIM, with out going into Windows. Only because Sprint only supports 4.3.

This part drives me insane especially now that RIM - or soon - owns that Mac plugin for BBDM. I don't use it so I don't recall the correct app name. I do support for BlackBerry - not so much the past few months so I'm behind after the first build of the Storm. I need to work with the varying BBDM's just in case I run into something odd at work that I wish to look for when I return home. Still getting used to the Mac OS X - its so different from the Puma I tried years ago.

PS to mikenike192, and other WM Pro device users ... Mozilla Fennec (FireFox mobile) browser is due in a few short days so you'll be able to kick that Windows Internet Explorer Browser for good. Opera is also sweet too - not the mini I'm refering too.

What you have to HACK in order to record video? Care to post an unedited video recording? I'm sure the quality is horrible with that 2mp NON LED/Xenon flash camera. Check the VGA @ 30fps video quality of recorded video from paetrick's N82 and you'll be amazed. Carl Zeiss lens, Xenon Flash. Sure paetrick sacrificed 3G but maybe its not even his coverage area anyway so WLAN will suffice.

paetrick, you may wish to upgrade to the N85 NAM for 3G on AT&T; but you'll sacrifice Xenon flash for dual LED :( - your night shots will slightly suffer; but your TVOut cable will work oh and USB charging is standard on the N85. ;)

The N82 has got 3G.

Whats with all the ugly covers on the iPhone? Kinda defeats the purpose of buying a nice looking phone if you cover it up in a purple condom no?

Oh and heres mine:

I was the same way until I got my iPhone. I kept it naked for about 2 weeks then got sick of every time I pull it out, or set it down, I'd have to baby it. Now I just got a thin silicone black case, and I can pretty much throw it around. And I think it personally looks, and feels better now. The back has a diamond plate design.

3G for your country = England and the rest of Europe. But NOT for those of us in North/South America. We need 850/1900Mhz bands. T-Mobile USA is the exception as theirs is the AWS auction purchase and thus hardly any phones support their "unique" 3G: 1700/2100Mhz (not the same range of 2100Mhz as you guys have in Europe).

I'm starting to agree with the fun toy, lousy phone opinion. And I just got this thing. I don't even like it that much as an iPod. That's the only reason why I got it, so I could combine the phone and MP3 player concepts, but I really wouldn't mind carrying an iPod + a Nokia or Sony Ericsson. I'd been doing it for so many years, why stop? Phooey. Oh well.

I'm looking forward to getting a Blackberry in the future hopefully.

I agree 100% about the iphone. I am going to pay out the rest of my contract and get a Nokia e71. I would have liked a blackberry bold but the plans are insane over here

You can get the E71-2 NAM for (North AMerican) 3.5G on AT&T unlocked & unbranded right now. However, you can wait a few more weeks - pay off your contract in slow amounts - and wait till AT&T's E71x gets offered. Few have leaked onto eBay already; but all gone.

Bold + Data Plans ... in the USA AT&T has unlimited plans for BIS but its still more because of the service and specific BB APN used for data on BlackBerry's. In this market, a LOT of people are & should be considering why pay for the extra data for push email and a closed IM client?! Sure the platform is easy to learn and AutoText extremely powerful; but its licensed and when other players like Nokia's S60 & upcoming Symbian-Foundation OS later next year, Android (which I currently detest), and other linux' then whats the point.

With MfE or RoadSync for Exchange server synching abilities, and Traveler v8.5 on S60 with no NOC implementation needed for push and collaboration corporations should REALLY consider BES and a huge expense UNLESS there is no competent in-house C++ coders that can pickup Carbide fast. BES' MDS is incredible for corporate intranet access and corporate applications ported to BB (those of you in tech support, imagine creating/editing/managing Remedy Tickets on your BB entirely remotely); but its still very expensive and should be considered as such when cost cutting decisions are being considered.
