Here's my TiBook:

Yes, I know the mouse clashes with the rest of the setup... It's from my G4 iMac and I saw no need to get a new one when that one worked and was not being used (replaced with tablet).

the pro mouse should do the trick...\

super cool

Finally got myself a new digital camera (a canon ixus 50 or sd400) which I'm in love with so I'm post my set up. On the left is also my new Lego Space Shuttle Discovery + Hubble Telescope that I got from a friend yesterday :).....

That is the coolest setup
cool view

can you post a picture of your entire room?

why three notebooks?

I know. Oftentimes, I get overboard with computers. Dell for Lotus Notes (company email and database and AS400), 12" PB for my fun stuffs while travelling (often work related), and tablet PC to take notes and keep myself paperless as much as possible. I got rid of Ti PB and iBook to make room for 15" MBP. Now, I am itching for MacPro....

yeah, I hear that. I thought it was a pain just bringing my 12" PB through airport security... but 3 laptops? wow, they must love you.

Get a VPN client (Nortel VPN, AT&T, or Cisco) and connect to your work servers, hopefully you can get the software on one of those computers. AS400 if you can find out it it'll run with Microsoft java VM within IE (I know a place where you can DL if you have a public , yet secure site from your company to interface with). I do tech for BNSF and they have the setup that I'm refering to: web emulation.

Get rid of the 3rd laptop/tablet. After using 3 yes 3 laptops you SHOULD be able to type over 70wpm WITHOUT mistakes by now. wake a laptop from SLEEP to fully open is enough to be able to type notes in MS Word/Entourage/Office Outlook MemoPad.

But sure whatever excuse you need to get a rise outta security personal. ;)

Powerbook users!! Where is my powerbook army?!

So this thread has been silent for way to long. I know there are tons of Powerbook users still on these forums - and in every coffee shop I go to in the city, so for all you users I give you something probably annoyingly fammiliar.

On top of my Powerbook that runs great after 4 years are 2 dead batteries and a iPod that forgets its mind if I pause a podcast audio file. #1 died after ~500 cycles but #2 died only a few weeks after the one year hardware warranty. Ack!

So anyone else deciding to upgrade and replace instead of getting a MBP or MB? Lets see them!

I've got a pic somewhere in this thread already, but my 12" PB rev. B has recently been maxed. Had an airport extreme card for a long time now, but recently put in a 100GB 5400 RPM drive, and maxed the RAM to 1.25GB. Should keep me covered until I can spring for some new Intel excitement. :)
