One benefit of this Mac obsession is I converted my wife to Mac. Though I kind of lost my MacBook Pro in the process. I took this without her knowing haha.

My PPCs are on the previous page. I tried to get her to use a PowerBook 12" but made the mistake of letting her use the MBP with a SSD. I can't get her to use the PB now. I should have taken a picture then.Where's the PowerPC?
Nice and clean. Good to see another QS still in use. My QS was my first computer and Mac. It's what got me hooked.Things switched up a bit trying to get the 2nd cinema display to fit.

Updated setup pic. There's also a MDD to the left underneath my gaming box.

Still my favorite looking Mac, despite having moved on to G5s.Yeah Im using it right now actually. My PMg5 is hiding behind my 2nd cinema display. My QS was my first ppc mac and of them, it's still my fav. The little ppc mac that could. Amazes me how zippy it still is for daily driver tasks in 2017.
[doublepost=1492944712][/doublepost]Dude..i am jealous ! I have this, I swear i took care of it like a gem. Covered at all times with a dust bag, turn it on when i have the time.Got an iMac G4 700Mhz the other day, stripped ito down and cleaned it all out, put a 512mb in the internal slot and a new battery.
Might have to disconnnect the internal speaker though as it makes faint interference sounds when I move the mouse or do anything demanding even when the pro speakers are connected.

Looks like a bacteria culture found a home.
Wow! What bad luck!I dont know what it is man. It was fine. the room temperature isn't damp. its rather warm.
I have been experincing failure in a few PPCs.
- The Xserve died- PSU i think.
- an iBook 12" screen died
- mac mini G4's power brick died
- two apple bluetooth keyboards died
all of these are in the same room...i don't know what has possessed it all.
A beautiful pattern - if it wasn't inside an LCD monitor!I dont know what it is man. It was fine. the room temperature isn't damp. its rather warm.

Beautiful it is thoughA beautiful pattern - if it wasn't inside an LCD monitor!
Wait a minute... why is Photo Booth on that machine? AFAIK the only way to get Photo Booth on a PPC running Tiger is to copy a version from an Intel Mac that came with Tiger. And even if you did that, there's no camera so what's the point?Got an iMac G4 700Mhz the other day, stripped ito down and cleaned it all out, put a 512mb in the internal slot and a new battery.

[doublepost=1492962625][/doublepost]Btw, forgot to say this in my previous post, but great setup!Your setups are always the best, I've been trying to create something like it in my "PPC Room" but it only lasts for a few days.

Forgot about the iMac G5. Only PPC with a built-in camera. Could you possibly send me a copy of the Photo Booth app? I lost the install disc for my Intel iMac so I have no way to get a copy now.Photobooth came installed on the final iMac G5 with iSight camera, all of my installs are clones from other Macs with all the updates and iLife 08 & 09, including both versions of iMovie and iMovie HD for machines which don't support the newer version. Plus the old iSight camera is compatible with these iMacs.
@redhatcode29, do you plan to make any attempt to fix this, such as disassembling or replacing the monitor?
