Has this worked for you?

Unfortunately not like it works on my iPad. The phone is still not recommending any apps, like my iPad does Netflix, with the exception of Music/Podcasts when bluetooth devices or headphones are connected.

This is when I get in my car now every day. It's really nice and it started happening after the last beta.

I get traffic and music app because I usually play music as soon as the Bluetooth

Started happening to me now too. To and from work. Also every time I get in the car. Whether it be after leaving the store, or a friends house. I freaking love it.

Yep. Today I drove to a plaza during lunch time because I needed to get something and when I got back to the car it gave me traffic info for work! Must say it's pretty nice.

Yeah, it's nice seeing this when getting in my car.

After reading this thread I'm only just realising that beta 5 has started loading music ready for use when I plug my earphones in its only a small thing but it makes the experience of iOS the little bit nicer I think

Someone on the forums commented that ProActive Siri is forcing Apple Maps on us, well that's not true. Here she is suggesting TomTom to me as this is usually the time I drive home from work and I hook my phone up to the FM transmitter.

She does suggest Apple Maps by giving me the time to certain places when she hooks up to the van and the cars Bluetooth though.

In order to get travel time to show, do you guys have an event on your calendars or an address in your info? Or does it just know from frequent locations?

After a setting reset, every time I plug into my little headphone, the song previously played will show up on screen, waiting for me to hit play and continue.

In morning, same action will call up ラブライブスクールフェスティバル, instead of music app because I play it often at morning.

I have received proactive calendar event Before. There is a prerequisite, though: if the position is unknown in Apple maps, nothing would happen.

I have even received good afternoon call from mail app weeks ago.

So proactive works much better for me since the very beginning.

For me it's worked with both.. though sometimes it gets confused because my fiance and I share a family calendar if she puts in events with a location for herself to let me know where she'll be it'll tell me time to that location instead of time to work. I sort of wish Proactive could learn behavior a little better - at the moment it really only knows what you tell it and can make some guesses based on the apps you use.

It still doesn't quite get that I listen to Music on my walks at lunch, but use MapMyRun on my runs after work. It typically just suggests whatever the last app I used while plugging my headphones into the phone for. So if I skip my run one day I'll get Music on my next walk, but if I go for a run I get MapMyRun the next day's walk - same thing happens for the run - if I skip my walk I get MapMyRun (presuming I ran the previous day) but if I walked that day at lunch I get Music.

I'm sure it'll get better over time - but it is certainly not as Proactive as I'd hoped it'd be.

Both. It shows me travel time to work in the morning and to home in the afternoon. Also, for meetings where I have an address in the location, I will get a notification when it is time to leave.

Are any of you guys using an exchange account and getting the travel time recommendations?

I just tested it now. I set up an appointment nearby on my Exchange calendar through work and just received a popup alert stating that I should leave by 2:50pm to arrive at my 3:00pm meeting. It didn't show in my today screen like the drive home does, but it does alert you about travel time.

I'm still not seeing some of these on my iPhone, but I didn't do a Reset All Settings after i installed beta 5. I just haven't had time to set it all back up. But I'm excited about this feature in iOS 9. I think it will be really useful.

Can you share your location settings?

I teach a circuits class at my gym and use a special app (Queue) that crossfades music together. Whenever I dock it in the station at work and work only, its my proactive app. Seriously impressed!

I have all system services options turned on under location services. Let me know if I didn't answer your question.
Thanks. I am getting the occasional notice regarding a meeting and travel time, but I am not getting proactive app suggestions. Beta!

Another great example, took a flight last night on JetBlue and have the app installed, and when I arrived at the airport close to my flight time, it suggested the JetBlue app for me to use!

I think Proactive is a big enough reason to make me do a clean install this year. I just don't want any bugs to sneak through from my backup.
