Finished browsing through this site and I'm not trying to criticize anybody, but I don't see how some of you guys have desks that are so messy or cluttered. To each their own, I just don't see how you can stand it.

Now that's different. I wouldn't mind having something like that for my guests to use.
Mine was far, far worse.... now it's so tidy I can't post aid true here! I left it for ages until it really started driving me crazy....Then did the whole thing on a week....New desk, new chair, re cabled the lot.
Now Im just waiting for two risers for my MBA and MBP, I have so much clean desk real estate, I am seriously considering putting a 37" HDMI TV from my bedroom on it....This would have been impossible a week or so back!

i thought for sure someone would post that really nasty workstation with the cigarette butts all over it along with old food and piles of soda cans on the side. I should have kept it. it was gross. maybe someone will post what im talking about.

What happened to switching to a standing desk?Mine is actually usually not this dirty. Its usually clean unless I'm "being creative
Sorry for the crappy pic the batteries for the camera in the pic are all charging.
The one I want doesn't come out until this month. Its not so much a standing desk as it is an entire platform that attaches to the desk and you can raise and lower it as needed. I think it would be a better solution for me (and potentially cheaper, I about barfed when I saw the cost of even the smallest standing desk!)

Well.. I work at a library and I don't have a workstation there. But I'm also studying at a school online so I guess my home is my workstation as well!
Love that your rocking the ol g3 - I still have my g3 and my eMac running as well as my macbook, mbp, and desktop. Love the classics! Well, classic for someone who's 21...
Haha! Well, I'm not that old either, I'm 26. We had G3's back in school (they of course were hot stuff around 2001-2002) so I figured I had to get one when I had the chance. Because to me - they're still hot stuff.

my first attempt at posting a pic, hope it works.
he's my desk currently, my 07 macbook is a bit weak to be driving these two monitors with all the programs i have open, think they are going to get me a macbook pro or mac mini soon so i can stop using my personal computer. might not be too likely, as you can see they just bought a loaded 27" iMac for my office mate so he can do detailing with Tekla
