babying my new MBP and today put gripping mat under it cuz my desk is wonky

i like a clean desk , iv only just put my desk back in my room

When I bought my MacBook I wanted to sell the iMac and get an old Mac Mini (iTunes server, convert- and download station) and a Display. But then I realized that the iMac has everything I need (and way more power) so I got an Thunderbolt Cable instead :)
A few Keyboardmaestro makros later I can switch screen, keyboard and mouse between the two macs in a second. I am very happy with this solution so far. I use the MacBook instead of the iMac because its faster (Flash vs. HDD). :)

Technically the Mini is my HTPC but I moved it into my makeshift office when I had to set up in another room for a bit. Back in my normal office and it just kind of came with me. To my left is another desk but that's my "home" setup. This is work, the laptop and external…or the crap that is blurred to preserve people's privacy and all that jazz. To appease the mods I took care of the coffee mug just a tad too.

No idea what is up with my camera but I think I have it on a custom WB so it looks like I tried to get creative. I did not/am not that creative. :)

very happy with this latest setup. moved the desk and bed next to one another and got an old lazy susan from the basement storage for the display stand so i can rotate it to face the desk or the bed. ultimate laziness disguised as efficiency
