One of my dream cars that is sadly becoming less realistic is a Back to the Future Part II time machine. Not even that long ago, a running DeLorean could be had for as low as $25k. But the market for collector cars and cars in general is now out of hand, and those same DeLoreans are now well over $50k. Robert Moseley does many time machine conversions, and the last one I saw sold in the past year on eBay was over $165,000.
Is that the 960? I learned to drive in a 740 Turbo Wagon. I miss it, but the V-series put me off modern Volvo. Got an old 1800ES I need to get to work on one of these days though...
It is a 1992 960! My parents bought it in 2003, and I fell in love with it. Learned how to drive in it, and I’ve been slowly adding in the rarer options and Euro-fying it - adding the much better European headlights, wood trim, radio, etc.Is that the 960? Man, a 1800ES is my other dream car! I’d love to drive around one of those. My neighbor somewhere in the neighborhood has one. Maybe one day!
