Thanks for posting. Due to the rain and cloudy skies here in Houston. I wasn't able to see the moon.

I had a clear view of the moon but I couldnt take a picture because my iphone couldnt pick up enough light. It looked far away compared to most of the pictures I see here. Also it did not look that orange/red to me during the full eclipse. IT was very dark outside and you could just see a outline glow behind it with a extremely light pink center.

Lunar eclipse 9/27/2015 composite SE Michigan
This is my 1st composite of the night, taken on fixed tripod, these are 2 minutes apart, 10:44pm - 11:06pm.
Canon 70D, 70-200mm L @ f2.8, ISO 3200, 1/15 sec each.
The faint "dots" are stars that showed up in the capture.

Image is taken as leaving totality, so you can see the transition.

Any place but here or there....
Alas xloud cover. Where we were nixed the super moon and most of the blood moon. I did see the eclipse and the moon turn orange. I tried getting photos, but the weather wasn't cooperating.
