I am awesome
So how's the brightness on your LE1600? Mine seems rather low.

I trust you have it 'cranked' to full brightness via Motion Dashboard? Even at full, mine isn't all that bright. (I don't have the view-anywhere screen myself. I'm assuming you do, judging by the viewing angle of your pic?)So how's the brightness on your LE1600? Mine seems rather low.

I think the lack of screen brightness is a tradeoff for the better wacom screen. I don't mind it- I don't intend to try using the tablet outside in direct sun, and indoors the screen is fine for my needs.
As for the thumb-reader: understand, it doesn't show up in the device manager. It will 'just work' when Windows 7 installs TrueSuite. I didn't purposefully install anything to get mine working, other than update Windows 7 (Professional). Then 'fingerprint' in start menu will launch the setup for it.
I see your screencap and raise you mine:

You like to live dangerous
Mine. I know it's not a iPad but I couldn't afford a iPad 2 and I didn't want a first gen.
I don't understand why people don't save up for the thing they want.
A wifi Galaxy Tab is like $350... you could have waited two months and save up another $150 and get the iPad 2.
If you got the Galaxy Tab because you think it's better then good for you. But if it's just a money reason, why spend the time being miserable when a little time and saving could get you what you want?
Just a little weird thing I've noticed in people. Life is short.
Because of the iPad about to fall or the keyboard that looks disgusting.
Or that his sync cable looks like it's past its prime as well.
