Upgrading from the 2018 iPad Pro.

Got the 13” Space Black with 1 TB, Keyboard, and Pencil Pro

The higher storage capacities available for the Air make me hopeful the next iPad mini also get 512GB-1TB options.

The iPad Air 13 is going to be popular with musicians who want to put all their sheet music on an iPad and need the "full page" screen but don't need the power (and price tag) of the Pro 12.9 / 13.

Prices are much more reasonable than expected. We got the M4! Storage is still connected to RAM and apparently number of active cores - not good.

The 13 inch Air is the same price as the original 13 inch 2015/2017 iPad Pro. Very good.

Umm… nothing really surprising. Other than the storage options available for the new Airs. I’m waiting on more details regarding the new Keyboard.. will it fit with older Pro models? And will the old keyboard fit with the new Pros?

Yes.

god damn...no macOS announcement for iPad....thought for sure with the redesigned Magic Keyboard that Apple would be courageous enough to port over macOS to the iPad....

Makes no sense....touting all of those performance metrics when the fact is that the iPad Pro is hampered by iPadOS completely.

There are Macs around for MacOS. I think the apps shown today use a fair amount of the M4 performance overhead.

Exactly. As much as I love the new hardware. It’s not really making anything I do faster over the last pro.
I’ve yet to do something on my iPad and said I wish this was faster.

13 inch, 512GB, Wifi+Cellular only a little over 1100 bucks after trade in. Only 1300 after adding the new pencil.

Not bad IMO.
