I also picked this inMotion up last year for around $3. It doesn't work properly anymore though.

You guys are really tempting me...:p

Unfortunately (fortunately?) my thrift store never has any of this stuff, and if they do, it's marked up like it was new. :(

I did however find an old GE alarm clock from the 80's there once for $1. Still works great (nice and loud), it's the only alarm clock I use. :)

LOL. The big brand thrift stores usually have the best buys. I forgot I have an old alarm clock too. I also found this cute little AM radio from the 70s or so. I have so much thrift stuff, come to think of it. When I was 10 or 11 around '03 I must have acquired over 20 older Macs and monitors and got rid of them. This was when we couldn't get a relatively modern computer.
Anyway, this is the alarm clock for $3. It is kinda wacky though. And here is the cool Sony boombox I got for $5, with LCD digital clock and equalizer. It has line-in and dual cassette too!

I have the exact same boombox at home! Awesome stuff.

Just got a lovely Dynax 404si SLR for a dollar today.

It even came with its strap and a Minolta AF 35-80 zoom lens was attached to the camera.

Also got some film to go with it (free).

This is my first film SLR camera.

Here's a nice photo of my Dynax and its lens:

Xbox & Project Gotham Racing:
p1010002l.jpg

The Xbox was $29 at Cash Converters and the game $4-as a bonus, Need for Speed Underground 2 was in the console (probably left in there by the previous owner).

Sony WM-BF58 Sports Walkman:
I got a Sony sports Walkman-a WM-BF58 for $6 today.

It's in good condition-only missing was the radio tuning knob and comes with MDR-E215 earphones in a mataching yellow color.

Features:
-AM/FM radio
-has the It's A Sony logo on the front
-relessed in 1988
-Solar alarm clock/atopwatch
-Part of the Sports Walkman series
-2 headphone jacks (only 2 Walkman models released in 1988 had this-including mine).

Got a Panasonic RX-CT800 boombox today.

it's a nice 3 piece Panasonic boombox-appearing to be from about 1990 or 1991.

It has a lot of features-including:
-2 cassette decks
-5 band graphic equalizer with the following bands:
100Hz
330Hz
1kHz
3.3kHz
10kHz
-volume control
-selector control
-CD/line input jacks (RCA type jack)
-combined editing (high/normal speed dubbing/microphone) and FM mode/B.P. control
-headphone jack
-FM/AM radio
-Tape deck features
relay play
synchro start recording
one touch recording
-speakers can be detached from the main unit
-speakers have a tweeter in each speaker
-has the original marketing labels on each cassette deck

Sound quality when using the 5 band equalizer is very nice.

Panasonic's boomboxes are known for having excellent sound quality-and the RX-CT800 is no exception.

For example:setting the 330Hz equalizer band to to +10 gives a powerful bass driven sound.

Found A Lisa 2

Got this Wednesday at an electronics thrift store. I don't believe it works, but I don't care considering the price.
