Here is my Samsung Series 7 55" 120 hz. LED LCD TV. The TV is only 29mm thick and hangs like a picture. The Samsung 3.1 sound bar below it with wireless sub. You can see my Klispsch flush mounted wall speakers as well but they don't get much use anymore. The unit below it houses the audio, blue ray and Direct TV.

Look great! i think a matte version would have been better, less reflection.

This is about the best picture I can get. No camera access at the moment so I used my iSight. Its a 26" Insignia with a xbox. I got it out of box with a few scuffs, But I'm only 15 and I think its really nice. Sitting on my dresser.

They are not worth mentioning ;) No but seriously they are some old boxes i got from my uncle, i changed all the elements (mid, bas and tweeter) to elements intended for car audio, the bass drives is 12" and works quite well.

I am not a bass person, i am more on clear sound, i really want a B&W setup (cm9, cmc2, cm5 and 2x velodyne SPL-1200r) but i cant afford it right now, i am 22 years old and dont have a car yet so i will focus on that first.

Wow, i really went offtopic with useless information ;)

Lol its cool, I enjoy hearing about that kinda stuff. i do the same thing, theres some Rocksford Fosgates on a kenwood car amp behind me.

Love that tv, been looking at the samsung LEDs for a while. Did you hang the tv with the samsung mount (picture style), from the picture it looks completely flush but I'm guessing there's a bit of gap between the wall and tv.

What about the backlighting, the only concern I had with the reviews of the tv was the led side-lit backlighting. They say that in dark scenes the entire backlight dims not just the black areas. Any problems you've seen?

Nice tv :D

My living room TV setup is pretty simple, but comfortable. It's made up of a cheap, 27" Olevia LCD, TiVo, AppleTV and DVD Player.

I do most my my viewing in my home theater downstairs, though. =)

Nice setup, the brick walls are original listed, it's a apartment in a converted 19th Century mill.

Yes I used the Samsung cable mount. It was strange handing a TV like that and NOT in a stud. The TV is almost completely flush. Its 1.5" from the wall to the front. Its so flush I caught myself complaining about connecting the cables :).

I have no issues with the backlighting at all. The benefits FAR out weight any drawbacks.

Well, I'll post mine even though it is very overshadowed by anyone else's here :p
27" Sharp TV
Nintendo Wii
Sony PS2
(Both systems gotten on launch day, so I have the old bulky PS2, but after opening it up to fix the laser it still works perfectly!)
And a few games with hard drives to hold them in place

My old PS2 you have to close the DVD drive with the button or the games don't work. You can't push it shut. Also the front cover on the DVD drive falls off so much we don't even bother to put it back on
And a few games with hard drives to hold them in place
Hope they were dead ones or so small that they are useless (>40 GB)

Our TVs are all old CRT's

That's too bad, with mine you can still push the DVD drive shut. I haven't had any problems with it at all other than the laser problem, although it took <30 minutes to fix.

One is 512MB and the other is 4GB, nothing too useful there :p

I just hung my Samsung 55 LED 7100, and wired the components to the Pantry. I have a lot more that I want to add, including speakers in the ceiling, but I'm doing one thing at a time :)

Hoping to do the same thing soon (LED TV above mantle)! They're so dangerously thin and expensive

Didn't see any Paradigms in here yet so might as well post my small Eastern Canadian Setup. I have since taken the lower speaker off from the TV. Also added a Yamaha RX-V3900.

Paradigm Titans - Rears
Paradigm CC-370 - Center
