Hi everyone....

So the iPod Touch is being shipped as we speak in the US.

Has anyone in the UK's order status updated or are we still on "Not Yet Shipped"

Please post your status and when you ordered.

Ships by 28th, arrives by October 2nd.
Ordered 7th September.

I will try ringing my nearest Apple store when it opens at 9.30 (Bullring)

Going to check the Apple store regents street this morning. Hopefully they will have some as a flagship Apple store.....

Placed the order yesterday after much debate about space, browsing, and lack of wifi where I live... but then I remembered I had a code which gave me £20.00 off before tax so I got it for £245.50!

No look at the Bullring in Birmingham, they havn't received any and just told me they expect them at end of the month at the moment. He said its possible to change but until they hear anything or receive anything they are going on the only date they have been told (September 28 - end of the month)

Let us know if you hear/witness anything else from that store (or any UK store)

I've called the phone sales and the southampton store, both say no, not until the 28th.
 
Well I just checked with both Bluewater and Regent Street stores. Bluewater just quotes the web as 28th September, Regent Street says first week in October.

Grrrr....

No I don't think so. My friend got it for me from another online forum. He used it and so did I, he said that other people have used it too, so it is re-usable.
I had actually order my iPod Touch a day before, and then he sent me the code to see if that would change my mind into buying one... so I canceled my original order... and order a new one with the code.

You can actually find the discount code in one of the posts in the iPod forum - I think it's a sticky. ;)
 
Just spoke to Apple store regents street and was told "some time in October" still worth a check in store. If anyone's around there ;)

Also discount code: ENTMZGJPVJ available for all orders over £235

Ordered the second the store came back up after keynote, can still cancel the order too which means they havent even thought about it yet... :(

Brilliant! Thankyou, my order status is now changed to order placed

but at £25 cheaper, which makes the delay a bit easier to handle :)

Is it worth me canceling my order and re-ordering using the code? (I'm very money conscious). How difficult is that to do (cancel an order) ?

Real easy... log into your Apple Store account... click on the order, click cancel... it's done.
Go back to the main store, select your iPod and replace the oder, enter the code and you'll save money!! As easy as that.
 
Thank you soo much , i was going to get it off amazon with my student disscount but with this code i save an extra £10, i don't mind the extra wait :)

the brent cross store in london don't have them either cause i just rushed there to check - they quote the 28th and say the website is the fastest way to get one. this is quite clearly rubbish!!!!!! I WANT ONE!
