Just when I thought that the "post your" threads couldn't get any more ridiculous. Seriously, unless you've got a novelty one (which none of these are) these all look like a plastic stick with a USB connector on one end. Move along, nothing to see here.... :)

Sorry, I consider them a utility item. :) However, if you insist, here's an example of what I'm talking about:

If anyone has an image of one of these bad boys (from getdigital.de) in action, I'm all eyes. ;)

This is my current flash drive. Not too sexy, but it holds 4GB. I have unfortunately had to do more work on Windows machines lately, so this has come in handy for carrying around various software installers and moving around data.

Most of the "novelty" flash drives I've seen (little figurines of various kinds or whatever) have been too low capacity (512MB!?) for me to really consider.

I have around 5

First one I got while a sophmore in college
64mb Lexar the purple one(Died and got warranty from manufacturer and got new one) Now used for Antivirus/Boot Disk will be USB Firefox

256mb Lexar Gray Box like which would not work on Apple Keyboard and it sucked, did not last at all.

512mb Lexar Slimer more common look to contemporary models, that baby really worked my last two years in college and in my internships. Very worn down, now I use it for my HTML learning

512 mb Rubber covered, promotional stick that I use as backup for my HTML
Just got it two weeks ago, my boss got like 10 from this convention we went to.

1gig Cruzer, which everyone has, good model use it for work.

I use my super-duper highly humongous 16MB CompUSA Flash Drive. Wow, that was like state of the art 8 years ago!:p Hey it does what I want it too so who cares. :apple:
Edit: I forget to add that I also use a 128 MB CF Card as well. Sorry to all 56k users...

Quick question, can you use these drives to transfer files from a PC to mac without formatting it each time?

Honestly, I've tried getting rid of U3 on multiple PC's. :(

IT JUST KEEPS COMING BACK!!!!

The uninstallation worked on my old Cruzer, but I don't have a working PC right now so I can't uninstall it.

I have a 1 GB Cruzer also. But yeah, I can't get U3 off of it. If I ever get my PC up and running again I'll have to try.

On the moon.
Dont laugh at my flash drive, since I carry it practially everywhere, and its real simple to shove the cable in my back pocket.

I also use my iPod to move stuff around, as well as a 2.5" hard disk drive.

And yes, I mainly use this thing for playing games, not for file movements.
