Bwa, what do you use your 4 monitors for.looks a nice setup.

Thanks. I write distributed software systems, so I end up debugging multiple pieces of software concurrently. I have two 24" displays and two 17" displays in portrait mode for documentation, log output, bug tracking. The two center 24" panels are for code and diffs.

I've been using a minimum of 4 monitors for development for a long time; works really well.

Bwa. i agree when coding and documenting its better with more monitors. when i built websites i like to borrow my dads 17" tft or use my 15" tft aswell as my macbook pro monitor. Hopefully going to buy a 22" monitor at least. I also do a fair amount of sound recording so again its nice to have screen estate. Do you have a mac setup aswell? That connected to a Mac Pro would be pretty sweet. Whats the max you have used if you have used a "minimum" of 4?

Well my dell w/98 died, and I gave away my laptop with 2000, so here's my dell with windows 95. (REALLY old picture; like from January, but it's still in the same place.)

I can't really use it for much, it's for writing, DOS games and early windows games.

I have an iMac here at home and a G5, G4 MDD, and an iBook in storage in California. I am slowly shippng my stuff across to Boston.

The max I've used was 8 monitors, but it was a little too much. I've been considering a 3rd 24" or a 30" to augment my set-up, but I think I'm OK for the moment.

If I were you I'd sell it all up and get an LCD, and use Boot Camp on the Mac Mini.

Here's mine. Unfortunately it's the only computer I have at the moment, but eventually I'll be getting a macbook pro and hooking that up to the 24" Dell. I built this computer myself back in January and basically I wanted to create a PC that looked like Darth Vader's Mac Pro. It looks a lot better in person I think. It's a steel Lian Li case. Inside I have:

Asus P5b mobo
4 gigs of 800mhz RAM
e6400 overclocked to 2.85 ghz
320 gig HD
7900GS (to be replaced with 8800 GTX when Crysis comes out)

I cant belive how much crap there is around the desk, gotta clean it up soon.
That desk looks awesome. What is it?

My desk is in need of replacement. And by desk, I mean two shelves duct-taped together, resting on top of a set of sawhorses.

Unfortunately I don't have any better pics of my setup, but I've got specs, though.

Core 2 Duo E6420 clocked at 3.22Ghz
eVGA 8800GTS 320MB
2x1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-1066
250GB HDD
Lian-Li PC-A16B
MX Revolution (best mouse ever)
Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard

The lone white cable on the side of my case is for my iPod Nano.

Here's mine, was built around Nov. '05. Still is pretty sick ass even tho it's getting old. Would like to replace it with Mac Pro, but my pockets are not full enough to do that yet.
