here are just a few of my pc setups. i've had plenty more but since i go through machines like people change underwear ill post the most recent haha.

pictured is a dell 2005fpw, dell 8400 desktop, and a dell 700m laptop.

then i sold the 8400 and bought a dimension xps 400 and another 2005fpw, and dell latitude x1.

now i'm at my current setup which includes a 700m which isn't pictured, a 42inch sony hdtv and a dell xps 200 desktop.

Here is mine from a month or two ago. The PowerMac G4 tower was replaced with a headless G5 system that I hooked up to my main LCD :D

Screens:
Dell 2005FPW, Dell 1800FP, Viewsonic Viewpanel VPA150 (on its side)

Tower:
AMD Athlon 3500+ (Newcastle)
Dual DVD Burners (one 16x dual layer)
1GB (2x512MB) OCZ DDR400
ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB (not a gamer ;))
36GB 10,000RPM Raptor
160GB Western Digital 7,200RPM
160GB Maxtor 7,200RPM
200GB Western Digital 7,200RPM (in enclosure)

Unfortunately I'm still on the PC most of the time because my headless G5 doesn't support at least dual monitors, which I have become oh so accustomed to. :(

yeah i like it a lot. it's a really nice desktop and looks really good too. i just wanted a big tv with a desktop so the xps 200 fit a lot better than the xps 400 ever would. i use it to surf the web and itunes and mostly use my laptop as my main machine. i got my parents an xps 400 for really cheap from the outlet and they love it.

rmhop81, it appears as though you have a bit of a Media Center thing going on in your living room. How does that work for you? I've been thinking of doing something similar.

it works great man, i actually use it for internet more than i thought i would. the tv has vga input on it so i just plug it straight from the computer to the tv. it's the best setup i've ever had. my tv was $200 cheaper than a 20inch imac, so it was well worth every penny. just make sure whenu look that u look for a tv with pc input bc only a handful have them on there. i also wanted this setup bc i have 4,000 songs on my computer so there is no need for cd's or a big stereo system and the price i paid for the computer actually made it cheaper than all that other stuff that people buy.

I've just looked through all of my photos... out of the millions that I've taken over the few years this was the only one of any of my rigs that I could find. BTW, its not me in the photo, its my little brother.

That's from way back when I was 17 I think.

If only I'd managed to get a photo of my last rig, it had a honking great big phase change unit hooked up to it and had to be run with the side off all the time because the phase change 'pipe' stuck out too far. :-S

I would put a photo up on here of my setup now but my room's a mess and my pc's guts are spilled out all under the desk.

Here's mine. A Dell Dimension E510 with all the fixins and the bonus 20" widescreen they threw in with the coupon code :D

I love macs, but media center is quite nice for recording TV shows without paying comcast for a DVR. Plus the +30 second skip button R0X0RZ MY S0X0RZ.

The SFF machine is running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005,
and the Dell SC430 Server is running Windows Server 2003.

The Power Mac G5 in these pictures has been sold and I'll be getting
rid of it when my MacBook Pro turns up.
