Oh believe me TV is quite a bit better than the 360 as a media center. I used to use Connect 360 and TV absolutely wipes the floor with it...

Unless you use a Ethernet-cable! I sold my crappy TV 160GB because of streaming problems and have a 360 to stream my content now .. works fantastic! 1080p..

Plus all I paid was $20 for the software. I have used/seen the Apple TV, and it is nice. I could not find a reason to spend the money and stop using my 360.

I use my TV to stream media every day. It works great -- but yes I use ethernet. The 360 is hardwired too. I don't trust wireless for anything other than basic internet use on a laptop.

I tried my 360 for media viewing, but it's just too limited. I didn't spend a lot of time with it, but it seems to not support folders. When you have nearly 2 TB of video, not having them in folders kind of sucks. With the TV, I can point it at my mounted server share, and that's it. Also, it's a lot quieter than the 360.

Yeah, those are my wife's

I've got flat LED lights from Ikea on the underside of those shelves. My Harmony remote automatically turns them on (via X10) whenever you're watching something on the TV.

Yea, I stole his idea for the lighting on my set up. You just can't tell on the crap cellphone-camera picture.

I would post mine, but beings that I'm sending it in for your repair since EVERYTIME I attempt to play gta 4 it freezes. Lucky me !
