Never understand people who buy beautifully designed iPads with state of the art displays and then stick screen protectors over them. Just be more careful. I'm on my fifth iPad and have never scratched any of them.

Everyone is different. Some see the benefits of screen protectors and others don't. And some want to protect their investment as much as possible, even from the scratches that you can't see that you don't think are there. I see the benefits of screen protectors, but I choose not to use them based off how I treat my devices and I'm not accident prone.

Because you literally can't see it? I hate things on my screen, and I never used to use those awful plastic screen protectors on my phone (really though those things were bad) but glass screen protectors are extremely easy to install, and if you get a good quality one you won't be able to see it on the device at all. Accidents happen, the day I installed a screen protector on my new 12.9 (hadn't gotten the smart cover yet) me and a friend had to frantically get out of my car because in a massive rain storm the window wouldn't go up, iPad fell. The $7.99 screen protector on it's own saved me a $600 replacement (there was a bunch of gravel but instead of cracking the screen it hit the protector and cracked it). Coming from a person with OCD - you can find a good glass screen protector that you don't notice.
